I’ve never wanted to hug an inanimate object so badly. Two days ago marked seven years living in Nashville, and twenty photos don’t scratch the surface of the beautiful memories I’ve had here. The past two days I’ve been reflecting on the years that have truly made me who I am. I moved here when I was 21, with a 4 month old puppy — little Winston — knowing only a couple people and almost no plan… honestly, I think I blacked out the month before moving because that fearlessness was something else haha.

Your early 20s are some of your most formative years — learning, exploring, and figuring out who you are — and I cannot be more grateful that Nashville is where I got to do all of that.
I feel like I’ve lived three different lives here — graduating from college, so many different jobs, changing interests, saying bye to friends but meeting new ones along the way, watching friends fall in love, get married, and start families of their own, oh, and meeting my husband… that was pretty cool.

And then there are all the little memories that don’t fit into twenty photos — Halloween costumes we put way too much effort into, holidays around tables with friends who slowly became family, and the excitement of having my actual family and hometown friends visit and getting to show them the place I had come to love so much.

There were home projects that felt way more ambitious than they needed to be, and moments much bigger than anything I could have imagined when I first moved here. I lived through the tornado, countless seasons of change, and somehow, through all of it, Nashville continued to feel like my little constant.

I’ll go on drives through rolling green hills, passing horses grazing in a field, and still think, “I cannot believe I get to call this place my home.” Seven years later, I still have that same deep love that stirred in me when I chose to move here.

I think that’s the most special part — realizing that this place didn’t just witness me growing up, it gave me the space to become who I am. So much of the life I have today started with a very young me taking a pretty wild step, and I’ll forever be grateful she chose Nashville.

Today for Allison and Trigg! My team did an amazing job this weekend while I have been in and out beginning maternity leave. So grateful for @lindseyrakers and @jaceypresto for all of their hard work and creativity 🐛

“We’re all so excited to have Hampton on the team. He brings a unique way of storytelling to his music, and his drive as both a songwriter and an artist would make anyone excited to work with him.”

Cole said it best…we can’t wait to get going! Guess we’ll start with…Hampton’s debut single, “Run From It”, will be out Friday, 8/21!!
