Thank you dance for always being my escape. I’ve had my ups and i’ve had many many downs and you’ve continued to be by my side, my love and passion for many years. Since my time as a collegiate dancer i’ve had such a hard time adjusting. I’ve not been happy and i lost my joy for dancing. I was confused as to why i enjoyed it so much as a kid and wondering why i never did any other sport. Luckily i had another year, another chance. I’m so thankful for the friendships, lessons and experiences i gained this year by just pushing through to the end. Thank you to my teammates for continuing to see my passion for the sport when i was blind to it. Thank you to my coach for giving me an opportunity to lead and grow as an upperclassman and captain. Thank you to my co-captains, you guys have seen me at my worst and continued to be there and support me. And one final thank you to dance, I’m glad i was able to remember my why. I hope to continue you for 1 final year. Here’s to my senior season!
