It’s been week since Passion, after soaking it all in and processing how the Lord moved; here are my thoughts:

Passion is more than just going to a huge conference and seeing well known Pastors speak in a huge sports arena. Passion is a vessel for God to touch the hearts of those who are under distress. It’s so cool to know God heals and restores our hearts. You learn so much more about how loving and pure Jesus is. I learned so much about how relational our God is and the freedom found within the Blood that was shed on the cross. Worship was incredibly powerful. I shed so many tears because of how God intentionally touched my heart. I’m so grateful for my friends that I call Family. And I am grateful to chase the Lord with my Emmie and continue to see the Lord move in our relationship.

Passion I love you and I know you not only touched my heart, but so many others.

During my time at passion I spent so much time journaling and flipping through the Bible. During one of our breaks, I stopped in Jermiah, Chapter 30, specifically verse 17; when Jesus says: “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.” This was the only verse I had highlighted on the whole page and it stood out to me. 2025 was a year God strengthened me. I found His strength through let downs and tough parts of the year. I am just so thankful for God’s Love and overall seeing His love through Emmie, my friends at SEU, and here at Passion!

passion.

it marked me in a way i could’ve never saw coming. how Jesus entered & dwelled went far beyond my expectations & anticipation. deeper than emotion, deeper than words, deeper than anything i could’ve prepared my heart for. i walked in carrying the weight of a year that had shattered me in quiet ways. 2025 was filled with hurt, loss, & brokenness, & i didn’t realize how much of it i was still holding until Jesus met me face to face.

words will always fall short of capturing what i truly saw. it was holy. it was tender. it was intentional. it was raw. & it undid me. the One who holds all authority stepped into my pain with gentleness, & still full of power.

i was finally safe. safe enough to release the unforgiveness. safe enough to let the walls fall. safe enough to admit how deeply i had been hurt. & in that sacred space, it wasn’t shame, it was healing. his authority didn’t feel heavy it felt like rest.

what a heart defined by pain was redeemed in His presence. carried from brokenness to wholeness, out of despair and into unlimited love.

passion wasn’t just an event it was an encounter with the living God. an encounter that changed the way i see Him, the way i see myself, & the way i step into what’s next.
