Summer! Life updates! God’s Goodness! Repeat!
Earlier this year I became a trainer at Fantasmic! and wrapped up my second DCP. I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to stay with The Walt Disney Company and I’m now working with nine different stage shows, parades, and entertainment offerings across WDW Property! I love it here! I can frequently be found at HomeGoods while furnishing my pink apartment! And so many family visits this summer! The Lord has been so faithful over the ups and downs and in betweens of the past year, and I’m so expectant for what He is preparing for me. That’s about it! Maybe I’ll post more often again, maybe I won’t, haha. We’ll see :)

BUILT

Today our oldest daughter moved into her new apartment. We are so excited for this next part of her adventure!

It took five of us working together all afternoon to assemble Sarah’s furniture. But by the end of the day, the empty space was transformed into a home!

Over the next three weeks, we will help three of our four children move. As you can imagine, it will entail a lot of driving, a lot of carrying, and a lot of building. (And a lot of snacks!🤣)

Our culture claims that happiness is something we find. But the truth is a happy life is not found anywhere, it’s BUILT.

Piece by piece.
Step by step.
Choice by choice.
Day by day.

Each decision builds on the next one, drawing us closer to—or further away from—the life we desire. Things will happen beyond our control; that’s part of life. But how we respond, what we do next determines the direction our life will take.

Jesus alluded to this in the parable of the wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7:24-27). How we build our life matters! And more importantly, WHO we build our life on will make all the difference.

Faith.
Purpose.
Family.
Relationships.
Prayer.

Today we built furniture, but we also built so much more—trust, love, memories, etc.

What are you doing to intentionally build the life you want? And WHO is building it with you?

On to the next Graduation!👩‍🎓

We are so proud of @abbyyyheath for graduating from Liberty University this past weekend summa cum laude with a double major in Strategic Communications and Event Planning.🎉

The past four years have been filled with ups and downs, tremendous growth, sweet friendships, and more fun than anyone’s allowed to have! I’m not sure the girl we dropped off freshman year would even recognize the young woman who drove away on Saturday… except her heart is still the same.❤️

Abs, we love you and celebrate this accomplishment with you. The Lord has been so faithful and has taught you so much. Christ is your firm foundation—keep building your life on Him and it will be a life well lived! There is great joy to be found in pursuing holiness. Keep running your race!

Also, that last pic…what a gift to close out your college years in worship.🙌🏻 I wish I could hug whoever captured that moment. May you never lose that precious love for Jesus.

Go Flames!! You did it!🔥❤️
