This is going to be a fun one. After working with them on ‘War Machine’, Alan Ritchson is reuniting with Netflix on a heist thriller set in the world of MotoGP. It will be written by Chris Morgan, who’s best known for writing for writing every ‘Fast & Furious’ entry from ‘Tokyo Drift’ to ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ (7 films in total).
.
.
The film follow a crew of motorcycle thieves who begin stealing priceless antiquities around the world. Interpol recruits a onetime MotoGP prodigy (Ritchson) to catch them, until he realizes the ringleader may be his younger brother long believed dead.

Oh he didn’t come to play, this is a great cast he assembled. After making his debut by co-directing the autobiographical ‘Warfare’ with Alex Garland, war vet Ray Mendoza is going solo as he will direct the western drama ‘Blood On the Promontory’, and he has lined up quiet the cast as it will star Sam Worthington, Jack Quaid, Jai Courtney (‘Dangerous Animals’), Jaeden Martell (‘It Chapter 1’) and LaMonica Garrett (‘Lioness’). He will direct from a screenplay by Evan Cooper, while Nina Yang Bongiovi (‘Fruitvale Station’ and ‘Sorry to Bother You’) is producing.
.
.
It follows five convicts shackled together by foot as they try to escape through the mountains following a violent train robbery.

Oh baby, he’s an incredible choice for this role. 2 time Emmy nominee David Harbour has joined ‘John Rambo’, an origin/prequel film set during his time in Vietnam. Harbor will play Major Trautman, Rambo’s commanding officer, who was played by the late, great Richard Crenna in the original trilogy. We got glimpses of what Rambo went through in the past films, so will be great to see it fully visualize in a whole film.
.
.
Noah Centineo is playing the iconic character and he certainly has the look for the character, hope he nails it. Jalmari Helander (both ‘Sisu’ films) is directing from a screenplay by the duo of Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani, who are best known for ‘The Mauritanian’ and ‘Black Adam’, which Centineo was apart of. The supporting cast includes Yao (‘Sinners’), Jason Tobin (‘The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift’), Quincy Isaiah (‘Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty’), Jefferson White (‘Yellowstone’), and Tayme Thapthimthong (‘The White Lotus’).

Oh, this is a banger team up for this project. Never played the games, but I love a good war film and these two definitely have credentials that make this exciting for me. Peter Berg (‘Lone Survivor’ and ‘Deepwater Horizon’) will direct the long in the works ‘Call of Duty’ film from a script he’s co-writing with Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan (‘Sicario’ and ‘Hell or High Water’). Berg previously produced the Sheridan written films ‘Hell or High Water’ and ‘Wind River’, but this will be the first time Berg directs one of Sheridan’s scripts.

Shit, talk about keeping it a secret. I kind of love these type of announcements as it’s so rare how a days for a film to get made in secrecy without people knowing. I was so disappointed by ‘Havoc’, but really love ‘Apostle’ and his two ‘The Raid’ films, so I’m seriously hoping this is a return to form for him. Action maestro Gareth Evans has wrapped up production on his new film, ‘A Colt Is My Passport’, a remake of a 60’s yakuza thriller, which he directed from a script by his frequent collaborator Chris Webb. Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù (‘Gangs of London’) leads the cast that includes Oscar nominee Tim Roth, Jack Reynor (‘Midsommar’), Lucy Boynton (‘Sing Street’), Victor Alli (‘Bridgerton’) and Burn Gorman (‘The Dark Knight Rises’).
.
.
Evans has updated the story to 1978 Detroit and it will follow Colt (Dìrísù), a Vietnam War veteran turned contract killer who is hired to take out a crime boss. Once the deed is done, him and his driver (Roth) must flee as rival gangs join forces to go after them.

This is going to be so bad ass 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨. First look at Alan Ritchson (‘Reacher’) in the action thriller ‘Motor City’. Potsy Ponciroli (‘Old Henry’ and ‘Greedy People’) directed from a screenplay written by Chad St. John (‘London Has Fallen’). The rest of the cast includes 2 time Golden Globe nominee Shailene Woodley, Emmy nominees Ben Foster, Pablo Schreiber (‘Halo’) and Lionel Boyce (‘The Bear’) and Ben Mackenzie (‘Gotham).
.
.
The film takes place in 70’s Detroit and follows John Miller (Ritchson), who was framed for falling in love with a gangsters girl (Woodley). After being released from prison, he unleashes a rampage of brutal vengeance on the gangster (Foster) who framed him.

😩😩😩😩 from plot, actors and director, this is the perfect film for me. I don’t care what year it comes out, it will be in my top 3 most anticipated films of that year. 2 time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali and Oscar nominee Tom Hardy will lead the New York set crime thriller ‘Blackout 77’, which will be directed by Emmy winner Cary Fukunaga (‘No Time to Die’, ‘Beast of No Nation’) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Frank John Hughes (‘Band of Brothers’). Oscar winner Charles Rogen (‘Oppenheimer’) is producing.
.
.
The film takes place during a single night in 1977, when NYC loses power and plunges into chaos and lawlessness. Five rogue police officers formulate a plan to rob three criminal strongholds, the Hong Kong Triads, the Italian Mafia, and the Harlem Mob, all in one night. They have to navigate a hellish landscape as years of being overworked and underpaid forces each of them to confront their own morality.
