✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

My first ever race as an official pacer... and what an experience it was. 💙🏃🏼‍♀️

The Aberdeen Half Marathon has to be one of my favourite races I've done so far. From the brilliant organisation to the stunning route and the incredible support from start to finish, it really had everything.

Helping runners hit their goal and seeing the smiles at the finish line made it even more special. I loved every minute of it.

See you next year, Aberdeen... but this time I might be chasing my own PB. 😉💙

ABERDEEN HALF MARATHON - RESULTS ROUNDUP

Another great day out at the inaugural Aberdeen Half Marathon.

Craig kicked off his Amsterdam Marathon block in style with a 1 minute PB of 1:17:07.

Lucy got the racing feel back after Lairig Ghru with a time of 1:30:46, setting her up nicely for a 5k/10k block coming up.

Mark continued his year of PB’s with a 1:35:14, taking 3mins 20sec off his Inverness time from March.

Louisa finished in a time of 1:39:54 despite struggling with illness and injury.

Jody ran a time of 1:51:46 as a benchmark before training for Graz Marathon.

Beth continued her Ironman training by supporting her friend to achieve a sub 2 for the first time, finishing in 1:57:46.

Some great results and a fantastic event and atmosphere.

A couple of quieter weeks coming up from racing allowing the guys to get some good training in.

Aberdeen Half Marathon ✅

What an awesome event to have right on your doorstep, a great feeling to sleep in your own bed the night before a race. Great to run in such a large group of mixed talent, made me push that little bit harder and stick with a faster group than I intended.

Ran my fastest half yet and with a broken digit I’m pretty happy with my official chip time of 01:37. A good base for sub 3.30 marathon at Loch Ness 26!

There’s something about running on a night like tonight that reminds you why you keep coming back. Smiles, effort, encouragement, and a group that always has each other’s backs.

Massive well done to everyone who came along to Aberdeen University’s King’s Playing Fields tonight. Whether you were pushing the pace, ticking off the miles, recovering from @abdnmarathon or just getting out the door after a busy day, every run counts. 💪🏻

As always, nobody gets left behind, everyone is welcome, and the support from each other is what makes Hidden Peak what it is.

Aberdeen Half Marathon 2026

This past weekend we got to attend the inaugural Aberdeen Half Marathon as their Health and Fitness Partner.

Not only did our very own group exercise instructor Tracy lead the warmup, but we got to support runners via special membership and additional workshops throughout the past few months. On the day we were cheering on all the runners (especially our members and our own staff) and left feeling inspired and awed at everyone’s efforts.

Thank you again @abdnmarathon for having us and trusting us with this role.

Congratulations to all the participants. We hope to see you in 2027 as we continue to be the Health and Wellbeing Partner of the Aberdeen Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5k!

“You don’t know what you can do until you try” ✨

I’ve always been a runner at heart, but with my focus locked entirely into Hyrox lately, stepping up to a half marathon line came with a lot of nerves and zero expectations.

Delighted to see how well the Hyrox fitness translates to pure road fitness—even off low running volume! Kept it strong and controlled, loved every single second of pure running, and I’m really proud of myself for putting it to the test.

Aberdeen Half Marathon 2026.

You had injuries, bagpipes, run clubs, power ups, saxophones, violins, jelly shots, discounted beer and fucking bubbles!

Wishing my time was faster but ultimately glad I finished in one piece.

2:02:47 chip time, with a PB of ~ 3 mins, looking to drop a sub 1:50 next time out.

Roll on the full next year🏃‍♂️
