Breakfast or brunch @abecafe_concord is always a good idea. We stopped by for breakfast to check out some of their new fall menu items for the season. We really enjoyed the apple pie pancakes and the ABE hot chicken and biscuits 😋

Another Broken Egg Cafe understood the brunch assignment. The Mango Margarita was smooth and refreshing, and the Apple Fritter French Toast was the star of the table 😮‍💨 sweet, flavorful, and worth every bite. The Andouille sausage brought a savory kick, while the scrambled eggs and seasoned potatoes completed the plate. Everything hit, and I’m giving this brunch a 10/10. Go check them out and tell them Bam sent you!

Okay, but here’s the part I couldn’t fit into the Reel… 👀

Another Broken Egg Cafe in Concord is one of those brunch spots where the menu makes it genuinely hard to decide what to order because there are so many things that sound good.

A few things I’d absolutely recommend after our visit:

🥓 If you’re a grits person, upgrade to the loaded grits. They add gouda, bacon, tomatoes, and scallions, and they were way better than I expected. I will never order plain grits again!!

🍳 The seasonal Steak & Eggs Benedict was probably my favorite dish at the table. Instead of an English muffin, it’s served over breakfast potatoes, and once those potatoes soak up the egg yolk and hollandaise… game over.

🥞 The Pumpkin Crunch Waffle is definitely a good pick if you want something sweet, but I’d personally pair it with a savory dish or split it because it is HUGE.

☕️ Even the kids’ chocolate milk gets dressed up with chocolate drizzle and cold foam, which my daughter thought was the best thing ever.

And yes, I’d go back.

Concord, NC… this is NOT your basic eggs-and-toast breakfast spot. 🍳🥂

We were invited to check out Another Broken Egg Cafe in Concord, NC and this is the kind of place you go when you want brunch to feel like an EXPERIENCE.

Think Steak & Eggs Benedict served over crispy breakfast potatoes and covered in hollandaise, Crab Cake Benedict, a HUGE Pumpkin Crunch Waffle topped with cheesecake butter, Chicken & Waffles, beignets absolutely buried in powdered sugar… and loaded grits with gouda, bacon, tomatoes, and scallions. 🤤

And the drinks?! My ABE Famous Infused Mary had a little kick from spicy pepper-infused vodka AND came with crispy bacon. My husband went with the Spiked Caramel Cold Brew… aka adult coffee done right. 😂
