Esalen, one week later.

i’m still thinking about these four days.
and yes, part of me wishes i was still there.
not because i want to escape life, but because something felt so deeply right about it.

I thought I would come home with answers. Instead, I came home with better questions.
i went there hoping to reconnect with myself a little. and somehow what unfolded was much deeper than i expected.
what i keep coming back to is that the experience itself wasn’t built on anything extravagant.
and yet it felt like the most luxurious thing.

space. time. food.
breath. movement. conversation.
interaction. nature. silence. play. presence.

it made me realize that maybe this is luxury.
 having enough space around us to finally hear ourselves.

my inner child came out to play in ways i hadn’t felt in years.
and i realized that’s where i feel the most happy, the most free, the most myself.

it wasn’t becoming someone else. it felt more like meeting myself again.

coming back has been strange.
because once your body remembers that feeling, it’s hard not to want more of it. i almost wanted to hold onto it forever, but i think what i’m learning is that the practice isn’t keeping the feeling.
it’s trusting that it’s available.
and building a life that creates more moments like that.

what if being alive is finding the state where we feel most alive  and returning to it as often as we can?
not perfectly. not forever.
just enough to remember.

there’s so much more inside of us to connect with than we think. so much more play. so much more presence. so much more potential waiting for the conditions to emerge.

grateful for everyone who created and shared this space. ❤️

still integrating. still receiving the downloads. still becoming.
