Today our crew is making our final big push to finish out the camp’s unload in San Diego! We need YOUR help! Even if you did not camp with us, or attend the burn at all, our team has been pushing hard for three weeks and we need assistance from the community to make it through to the other side.

We are power washing the mud off of everything that needs cleaning and repacking everything into storage and out on a property in Lakeside. AND at the end of the day we will be gathering for a BBQ Potluck Pool Party at a friend of the camp’s home in Chula Vista! A mini-decompression. Details are in our story through the end of the day. Please DM us to be connected, or go directly to @duckyy_the_name_ to join us on site.

A Burning Man Theme Camp is a massive undertaking and if you’ve ever burned, you know how hard it is to get people together to do the work. It’s wild that 80 people camped with us and only about 20 people do 80% of the work necessary for us to be set up and running on and off playa. Without the other 60 people the crew gets incredibly burnt out and some quit, go to other camps, or decide to go rogue because the efforts don’t match the outcome.

It’s a struggle every year to make load and unload happen in such a way that it does not burn out our core crew. Please consider our plea for help today! Even an hour goes a long way in reducing the work load on the rest of us.

Epic! Wild! Muddy! Wet! Extreme! Novel! Dramatic! And so many other adjectives describe this year’s burn!

So many of our plans fell through due to weather circumstances that we could not control, but we came together, worked our tushies day and night, partied hard and celebrated the adventure of Burning Man together!!

Our build and strike teams are what keep this theme camp successful and our final team is currently putting in the work to finish clearing our plot and packing out our trucks for the long journey back to San Diego.

Our team of acrobats, fire spinners, aerialists, dancers, and DJs came together to celebrate our communal efforts and radical self expression. Keep an eye on our feed for videos, pictures, and so many captures of our time on playa. Hopefully you are on your way back to default to remove the playa mud and dust from everything you own.

If you left things behind the team is doing our best to load them into the trucks, please come out for our unload and clean up. More details to come, keep an eye on your emails, our stories, and posts here!

Build crew Friday afternoon group shot!

These dusty burners are hard at work preparing our camp for you!!
Be sure to shower your builders with extra love, adulations, tender care, and fluff the hell outta them! They’ve been going hard for days in the dry heat and will be ready for your affections upon arrival. 😘

It has begun!!!

After two days of trials with our trucks and dealing with one snafu after another our first team landed and got placed before midnight! The trucks landed just before sunrise and now our builders are unloading, measuring, flagging and placing.

As more of our build team lands the camp will take shape.

Come say hey at 2:15 & F 👋
