Happy Retirement, Taxco de la Nutria “Taco” 🌮 We have been so fortunate to have Taco as part of Avanti Equestrian. 🤎🩵 From the Grand Prix ring with Amy to the Amateur Jumpers with his owner, Jan, Taco gave his heart every single time. Taco has been an incredible competitor, partner, and teacher, and truly one of the kindest horses we’ve known. Thank you to Jan for giving him such a thoughtful transition toward retirement. While it’s bittersweet to see him in his next chapter, we’re so happy he’s now enjoying a well-earned retirement with Samantha and William Martin in Santa Ynez. 🌱☀️ We are forever grateful for you, Taco. What a horse! 💯❤️

🏇🏻🏆 From the race track to the show ring General Welfare and Command Me, both owned by Schroeder Farms, had a great show at the MNF Charity Horse Show & Thoroughbred Classic! 🎄☃️ 🌟🥇 General Welfare and Jeanne Powell clinched championship honors in the Thoroughbred .80m Jumpers! 🌟💙 Command Me earned a first place in the .90m Thoroughbred Jumpers with Amy Hess. 🏇🏻 Jeanne’s dad, Racehorse trainer Leonard Powell 🇫🇷 took the reins on Command Me for the racehorse relay class. We loved seeing Leonard in the saddle to support a great cause, CARMA! It’s amazing to see Thoroughbreds ✨ shine ✨ in their second careers— and want to thank the Schroeder Family for giving these special horses the chance to thrive after racing. 📷: Brooke Goddard Media + Lindsey Long Equine Photography
