Ah where to begin…

Watching students surrender their lives to Christ, seeing walls come down, hearts soften, and lives changed right in front of us is something I’ll never take for granted. Getting a front row seat to what God is doing is one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever experienced.

Ian, thank you for the way you lead. The way you love people is one of the most genuine things I’ve ever witnessed, and it shows in everything you do. You somehow make every student feel seen, every leader feel appreciated, and every person who walks into youth feel like they belong. The way you pour into people never goes unnoticed, and neither does the impact you have on every life you encounter. Watching you be recognized as Group Leader of the Week wasn’t surprising, it was deserved. It was a reflection of the countless conversations, prayers, encouragement, and moments that people don’t always see. Your heart for this ministry is impossible to ignore, and the way you continually point people to Jesus is something we’re all better because of. You lead with humility, compassion, and a servant’s heart, and that kind of leadership changes people. Thank you for pouring into every single one of us the way you do. We love you more than words can say, and we’re unbelievably blessed that God chose you to lead this ministry 🫰🏼

To my fellow leaders, thank you for making this week unforgettable. Thank you for the late night talks, laughing until our stomachs hurt, worshipping long after small group was supposed to end, praying together, crying together, hyping each other up, surviving on little sleep, and somehow still showing up every day ready to love these students with everything we had. I wouldn’t trade it for the world🫰🏼

And to the kids, thank you for letting us be part of your lives. Your joy is contagious, your hearts are inspiring, and watching you worship, grow, laugh until you cry, and love one another so genuinely reminded me exactly why this is all worth it🫰🏼

These memories belong to this group, this week, and this season of life. I’m exhausted and my voice is gone, but God I’m just grateful for you.

Until next year.
