Day 3 - Wedding Day: Getting Ready 🕊️

Back to posting from the best weekend of my entire life. Finally continuing with Day 3, our wedding day. (Look at my pinned reels for Days 1 & 2)

I got ready in a vintage Christian @dior robe from the 1970s, with @forloveandlemons underneath, which led to finally putting on the dress of my dreams.

Getting ready surrounded by the most important women in my life was a moment in itself. There was something so special about having the women who have loved me through every chapter of my life there with me as I stepped into the next one 🤍

I designed my dress for a full year with @quintana__official. From our very first meeting, he understood the exact vision I had and executed it perfectly. It was such a beautiful and fun process from beginning to end.

I knew I didn’t want a bright white dress. I wanted something elegant and soft, almost a pearl tone. I wanted it to show my shape while still feeling like a true wedding gown. I wanted to feel like a princess, like every bride dreams of, but in a way that still felt completely like me. An open back. Vintage. Classy. Elegant. And just a little sexy at the same time. It was truly a dream working with him, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

The pin on my dress belonged to my mom. She has passed away, so having a piece of her with me that day meant more than I can explain. It felt like I was holding her close to my heart.

My lace headpiece was made with vintage glass from the 1930s, adding the perfect touch of old-world romance I was hoping for.

Hidden inside my dress is a piece of my hair, a French tradition that I absolutely love and wanted to honor, along with a little piece of something blue secretly sewn in as well.

For my jewelry, I wanted something that felt just as timeless and special as the rest of the look. My earrings from @alessarocks were the perfect finishing touch and tied everything together so beautifully.

Lastly, the perfect heels from @badgleymischka.

Truly, it was the best day of my life. The dress of my dreams, marrying the love of my life. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt, and I still can’t even put it all into words 🥹
