A huge thanks to the See the Vision Sponsors!

What if public art helped power, cool, gather, and protect a space while telling its story?

We invite you to break bread and brainstorm Thursday, April 2. Dinner will be provided with ticket.

See the Vision: Ideas Lab is an interactive working session bringing together artists, designers, business owners, culture bearers, and community leaders to generate functional public art that goes to work for New Orleans as community infrastructure.

Following our Makers & Materials Expo, this Ideas Lab moves from inspiration to implementation.

We are actively developing projects that reimagine:

• Murals as neighborhood storytelling anchors
• Sculptural rain catchment + stormwater systems
• Solar-powered shade structures and resilience hubs
• Native plant landscapes as living infrastructure
• Creative interventions that strengthen both culture and climate adaptation

5PM Doors Open
5:30PM Words from a Small Center Founder, Dan Etheridge, and Fireside Chat with Ideas Lab site leaders.

About yesterday: Still smiling and still full. 💛

I’m overflowing with gratitude for another year of life, for God’s faithfulness, and for the love that wrapped around me this birthday. Every call, text, prayer, laugh, and moment shared reminded me how deeply blessed I am.

To everyone who showed up—in person, on the phone, or in spirit—thank you. From the cool, unexpected experiences to the quiet moments of joy, this birthday felt intentional, fun, and so full of light.

Here’s to stepping into the next volume with joy, hope, and trust in what’s ahead. My cup truly runs over. ✨🙏🏾🥳 #birthdayEnergyallyearlong #itsmybirthday #ToGodBeTheGlory

Sound check never sounded so good! 🎶✨
I’m a soulstress, a songwriter, and I make jingles—so book me, haha ❤️

Congo Square is such a historic place in NOLA, and I’m always honored to perform there every time I’m called! 🙌🏾

💐 Save this sound so you can sing it during your sound check! 🥰😘
Sharing is caring 💕

Thanks @abigator_mama for the footage!!

Big thanks to everyone involved. Love y’all—remember, we are Better Together! 💛💚💜

Today, We Release | Katrina20

As the sun rose over the Mississippi River steps during our Moonwalk Ceremony, we felt the heartbeat of our community’s journey. Today, on the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, we honor all the steps that brought us here: honoring, healing, changing, preparing. And now, we release.

This is more than just a moment—it’s a culmination of all our efforts, the dedication of the Katrina20 Local Planning Committee, and the power of our Gulf Coast family coming together.

Join us throughout the day for healing spaces at Armstrong Park, the annual Katrina March, and community gatherings across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Let’s release together and step into the future we are shaping.

Check the full schedule and tune in virtually via the link in our bio. Together, we are the storm.

The screening at @patoisfilmfest of @dontbelonglittlebird in New Orleans at @thebroadnola was a dream!

It was a full house for the shorts program of other incredible Palestinian and Iranian films.
