POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is with pleasure to share the below testimonial.
As Tiny Gatherings begins a new chapter with Wild Voices : Stories from the Modern Explorer at The Poly, Falmouth, Cornwall. And the South West Proffesional Networking Evenings for Adventure & Natural History Documentary, TV & Film.

I want to shine a light on how these events started with one festival. That shined a light on incredible humans, from wellness to film makers and speakers and more. It is this feeling that I will be carrying through to all the future Tiny Gatherings Events.

Thank you @abitofcreativity for your beautifully kind words on what that moment felt for you.

"The festival has changed me forever in so many ways- you created a truly magical space that weekend .

You created something very special. I was terrified doing my first festival and it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone but I met some wonderful people and showed myself what I am capable of.

Im currently half way through a masters in psychology at marjons - all part of the ripple effects from tiny gatherings giving me new found confidence and self belief and thank you so much Jess I am still thinking about the talk you gave that inspires me today. "

No of these moments that become life long inspirations are possible without the incredible humans involved. The spaces that host them and most importantly yourselves. Advance tickets allow events to go ahead. Be sure to take a look at October's dates, with an amazing line up for the rest of the year I look forward to sharing more shortly.

Links in bio for all future events.
With a refreshed website nearly complete.

Be where your feet are 🦶

This afternoon, I sat in the garden with the sun on my skin, a good book in my hands, and the steady presence of spring all around me. No rushing. No scrolling. Just me, the birdsong, and the turning pages.

It’s easy to think mindfulness has to be a big practice - something official, structured, hard-earned. But really, it’s right here. In the stillness. In the noticing. In the choice to just be where your feet are (a homage to a great book by Scott M. O'Neil, recommended by my beautiful friend Sally)

Today, mine were basking in the sun, soaking up peace.
Where are yours?

Good Morning Friends 💫🌸

Yesterday, a friend wrote a thought-provoking question: “What does freedom feel like to you?”🕊️ @abitofcreativity

After pondering on it, I realised that freedom, to me, is so much more than just a word. It is a feeling, an experience, and a state of mind.

For me, freedom feels like a weight being lifted off my shoulders. It is the ability to express myself authentically, without fear of judgment or retribution. It is the liberation to pursue my passions and dreams, to chase after what truly makes my heart sing.💗🎼

But freedom is not just about personal fulfillment; it is also about the collective growth of society. It is the opportunity to explore and embrace diverse perspectives, to engage in open dialogue, and to learn from one another. It is the celebration of individuality and the acceptance of differences.

In a world where we are constantly bombarded with opinions and ideologies, freedom allows us to sift through the noise and find our own truth. It empowers us to question, to challenge, and to evolve. It is the understanding that true progress and innovation arise from the collective contributions of a diverse society.💫🌎

So, my dear friends, I ask you: What does freedom feel like for you? Take a moment to reflect on this question and share your thoughts. Let’s embark on a journey of optimistic deep thinking, where we can explore the depths of our souls and discover the true essence of freedom. Together, let’s celebrate the beauty of individuality and the power of unity. 💜🌸 #whatfreedomfeelslike #whatfreedommeanstoyou #unity #diversity #thoughts #thoughtoftheday #stateofmind #befree

Sauna Experience at Tiny Gatherings Festival
If you are like me then you will like to be organised and if you have a family evenmore so. You might like to have some money by for those extra special experiences to support local businesses at the festival.

Here are the prices for this year's sauna experience.

Both as a single sauna pass or a weekend festival pass.

The benefits of sauna is huge for both body and mind.

And if you are knew to sauna this particular sauna build has been created by an ex health professional who has knowledge beyond words. So you can feel safe and ready to experience and have a go.

If you can't see me on site don't worry I will be in the sauna too.

The sauna experience you are invited to purchase at the festival itself. If you have exact cash feel free to otherwise you may bring your card but cash always works for small businesses as you don't then have the card charge.

This is your small festival to still have the most beautiful experiences and leave feeling so well and good whilst having alot of fun at the same time.

WELCOME WELLNESS
Wellness journalling with a bit of creativity

No matter who we are, where we are in life journalling is a good habit, the best kind of healthy habit to do. Males it's perfect for you too. But for all it gives you the opportunity to put down your thoughts. Take them out of your brain. Whether patterns arise or simply you are writing down what you are greatful for that day.

It is a powerful tool. A simple tool but a beautiful one.

A bit of creativity offer sessions outside of the festival so we are very lucky to have a free taster session to understand and learn how to journal in our everyday, whether in your tent, cabin or on the road or simply after a walk. We are in beautiful hands with this wonderful lady and teacher Sally.

Let’s chat about filmmaking on the road! 🤓 Certainly one of our most frequently asked topics in our YouTube comments & DMs 🚐🎬✨

🎙Tune into episode 6 of our Jits into the Sunset podcast (available on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts) where we cover:

🎬 Our experience in filmmaking before starting YouTube (Adam was a professional cameraman & editor + my background has been in advertising, working in creative agencies)

🎒Our camera kit & recommendations

📺 What making films for YouTube is really like and our advice to get started

🫢 Getting comfortable in front of the camera (I, Tania, was so nervous about it all but I share some brilliant advice that Adam gave me which helped me a lot!)

👨🏻‍💻 Our filmmaking workflow (Including our creative process as well as nerdy chats about media management).

As always, a HUGE thank you to everyone who submitted your questions through stories - your weekly participation really does make this feel like a conversation with friends! Well!!!!! That was just lovely 😊.. the first step in the journey forward 🙏. Giving ourselves time and permission to think about what nourishes us.....realising it doesn't have to work for anyone else - just you!!!! Overcoming nerves, preconceived ideas of our own creativity, the dangers of comparing, exploring the things that fill the cup we so readily pour from for others ✨💕.. the day was filled with so much loveliness Thankyou gorgeous girls . I am feeling fired up with ideas not only for the next session .. but for something new for 2018 🗓#newideas #abitofcreativity #whatnourishesyou #bigmagic #youcantpourfromanemptycup #countyourblessings
