Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, supported, and prayed for Able Faith. Because of you, $52,978 was raised to bring hope, community and purpose to our community.

Yesterday was a great Friday at Able Faith! 🪩

25+ participants joined us for an Inclusive Dance Class filled with fun, movement, and community.

We wrapped it up with fellowship and Raising Cane’s for lunch! ❤️

Summer Shaw from North Texas, paralyzed 26 years ago while working as a lifeguard at a country club, is passionate about embracing life post-injury, sharing her love for family, friends, faith, dogs, adaptive exercise and sports. She also is active with Able Faith, a nonprofit in her area that provides community and life changing programs for people with neurological disabilities.

We’ve been training athletes one-on-one at Iron Kingdom, and now we’re starting SMALL-GROUP Adaptive Fitness Sessions!

Choose from:

✨ Weekday evenings
✨ Saturday mornings

A supportive space for athletes to work on strength, balance, coordination, motor planning, focus, confidence & fitness — while being part of a small group.

*FIRST SESSION IS FREE!
*Registration is required.

Starting dates will be announced this weekend — but registrations are open now!

We’re keeping the groups small, so register soon to help us build the groups.

Different abilities. Different challenges. One amazing team.

Yesterday’s @ablefaith_tx group session was filled with movement, teamwork, laughter, and progress.

Every athlete showed strength in their own way — working on balance, posture, coordination, core strength, and functional movement while supporting each other every step of the way.
Because fitness is not about where you start… it’s about showing up, trying, and celebrating every win.

A heartfelt thank you to @ablefaith_tx for giving @specialstrongirvingdenton the opportunity to be part of this amazing experience.

Some might call us crazy… THREE community trips in one week right after spring break 😅
We call it commitment 💙

We wrapped up the week at one of our absolute FAVORITE places — AbleFaith.

AbleFaith is an incredible organization that creates inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities through fitness, recreation, life skills, and community-based programs — all centered around dignity, independence, and belonging. @ablefaith_tx

This time, our students participated in an adaptive cooking class where they made air-fried berry cobblers AND their own ice cream 🍓🍦
Hands-on, engaging, and real-life skills they can actually use.

And that’s the whole point.

Not busy work. Not worksheets.
Real experiences. Real skills. Real confidence.

Three trips. One week. Zero regrets.
