The Man… and the Family who has always loved on us.

One of the most difficult moments I’ve experienced in recent years was singing for Moma Farrakhan, knowing she was no longer physically able to hear me perform the song that became her favorite song for us to do for her. 💔

Thank you, Minister Farrakhan, for your unwavering strength, extraordinary leadership, and countless sacrifices. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of you and Moma’s journey. We love you both, always. 🫶🏽❤️

It was also an honor to stand among so many remarkable people who came to pay their respects, including @janetjackson #StevieWonder #DougieFresh @tamikadmallory @realjohnnygill22 @chicagosmayor @tasha4realsmith & so many others.

As My Teacher The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, My Brother & Friend Abnar Farrakhan, the Entire Farrakhan Family & Nation of Islam prepare to Celebrate the Magnificent Life of Mother Khadijah Farrakhan… I remember back to one of the True Honors of My Life, to have Rob sing Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Favorite Song for her. For brief background context: In 2018 The Minister had Abnar reach out to me to bring Rob to see him that he might tell him what God had told & shown him was to come. After meeting for 4 hours at The Minister’s home in Chicago, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan graced Us with her presence. I was so excited because none of us had any idea that she was there. This was my opportunity to FINALLY make what Abnar & I had tried to make happen for 3 years straight as a Surprise for her Birthday, conflicting schedules of Rob being on the road every year at her birthday didn’t allow it… but THIS was when God wanted it to happen. I told Rob, “We may have to fight later, BUT “I Believe I Can Fly” is Mother Farrakhan’s FAVORITE SONG. You gotta at least sing the first verse for her.” Rob replied “That’s a bologna sandwich…” and then did the following. My Heart, Thoughts, Love, Respect & Appreciation go out to Minister Farrakhan, Abnar, the entire Farrakhan Family, Nation of Islam and all who knew and loved Mother Farrakhan. 🙏🏾✝️🤲🏾☪️
