OHIO, WHAT A MORNING! 🎉📺🧀 What an incredible time on Good Day Columbus today with Phil Kelly and Katie McKee! Two amazing segments celebrating my cookbook, Totally Nachrageous, and one of Ohio's most deliciously unique creations 👏👏 We kicked things off with a fun author interview, talking all things nachos, the cookbook, and the journey that brought me to Columbus. Then it was off to the kitchen, where Chef Ryan from Cap City Fine Diner whipped up their famous Blue Cheese Potato Chips, a.k.a. OHIO NACHOS! 🙌 Think crispy kettle chips smothered in creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with crumbled blue cheese and fresh chives. A simple but absolutely delicious combination, and one of the dishes featured in the nationwide nacho roundup in my cookbook! And talk about a full-circle moment! I also got to meet Alissa Henry (@AlissaHenryTV), and funny enough, we were both featured in the same St. Patrick's Day segment on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver a few years ago! Who would've thought we'd end up crossing paths in Columbus years later. I also spotted a Christmas setup at the station and naturally had to jump in for a holiday pic 🎄📸 A HUGE thank you to Phil, Katie, producer Thomas Hoce, Chef Ryan, Celeste Reamer, and the entire Good Day Columbus and Cap City teams for such a warm welcome and a fantastic morning. Day one at BGSU started off w meeting some great students in the Falcon Media program, and recorded @abovedeckpod podcast in the studio!!! (They still have crates of CDs, WFAL friends!!) we had lunch at Campus Pollyeyes, grabbed a quick nap in the planetarium and watched the nations largest marching band perform! Can’t wait for day two!
