It’s Scorpio season and almost my Vovô Laura’s birthday.. and dia do lós muertos is on the horizon.. I miss her everyday; my favourite person... I remember her like it was yesterday.. the most loyal and selfless, flawless human I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. An angel on earth. Everything good about me comes from her. I still remember her like it was yesterday. While she’s no longer with us, I am looking forward to connecting with her side of the family for the holidays.. finally going to Brazil for the first time. Alone. Her spirit and legacy still lives on. Love you Vovó 🩷🩷🩷🇧🇷🇧🇷

#Narcoleap Season 2 brought me a nomination for
Professional #bts Photos by @alanhayphoto
#BestCostumeDesign. But more than that—it brought me memories, friendships, and moments that helped me survive.
At the time, my son had a terrible accident that would change his life forever. And still, I worked through the pain. Sometimes, someone on set sees past the surface. Sees you. And that can change everything.
Thank you @alekspaun, the one who walks with the most famous, fights for clean water, @legendwaterco shares his music, lifts spirits, makes you laugh, and above all—sees people when they need it most.
So here’s my entry for the #HaveU2Myself challenge @sosobrat @jessicabettsmusic @darealbbjudy @niecynash1 ✨
My nominees for this challenge are two men the world deserves to know more:
💥 @alekspaun – because everyone loves him and it’s easy to see why.
💥 @abrantesaurus – my son, my hero. A musician who’s been through fire and still creates beauty. With his band @the_bonehaus_band, he reminds me what strength sounds like.
They’re not my better halves. But they are two halves of greatness—out there inspiring the world.
Let’s gooo! 🎶💃

The set I recorded to open for Quivver @ Vantek. I was inspired by the Egyptian lore of the journey through the underworld after death. Throughout the underworld journey, the deceased’s spirit would have to contend with gods, strange creatures and gatekeepers to reach Osiris and the Hall of Final Judgment. Here they would plead their case for entry into the afterlife.

The main takeaway is: if you’re going through hell, keep going.

Special shout-out to @luana.fongaro & @vantekgroup thank you so much for this opportunity. Was life changing and so cathartic. Forever grateful 🥹💖

Cool song I made with my friend Kris Abrantes after he finished laying down a slick guitar track in Kitsilano, BC.

The shakers are thousands of cicadas chirping in the forest at night. 🌲
