Yo Detroit! Whaddup Doe 😎

🏍️💨 Slide 1-2 Cruising down Jefferson Ave through Rivertown with the GM building on my right. 🌆🏙️ The city had its Buffs 👓 on today. 😎🔥

♦️ Slide 3-4: Linked up with some of the Nupes from the North Province 👌🏽 and rolled down Grand River through Rosa Parks. 🎶🔊 Riding to that original Detroit sound that helped shape the city’s culture and influenced @bossman_dlow into the scene 🎬

😎🕶️ Slide 5-6 Rolled past the ♦️Kappa 👌🏽 Kastle through the lower east side.

🌭🍟 Slide 7: Cedric Aye bro... meet me at Coney Island! 😂😎 A brotha sure is hungry! 🌭🍔🍟💨

Slide 8: My good brother of the ♦️ Mike stepped out fresh with the Buffs 😎🦬 on reppin the lions 💙♦️🔥

Allow me to introduce the @blackbaseballmixtape Player Power Rating. I’m still working this out with the podcast crew but here is a little preview. How many players do you think we should rank each month? This first ranking (released on 6.1.2025) will be 3️⃣ position players and 3️⃣ pitchers.

Clearly Aaron Judge will be #1 but who should round out the top 3 position players and pitchers.

LET US KNOW!

Voting members will be those who have contributed to the platform and received an invitation from me.

Current voting members (inaugural class):
@flobito
@allaboutapril3
@buttamanecane
@lewisbrins25
@tangible_uno
@abrothanamedced
@culturexcures
@hrhoney42
@_dondishes

Please comment on this post with your family vote. Top 3 position players and top 3 pitchers.

This is American-Born Black players/African Americans. Not limited to MLB.

Have fun!!!

Major League Baseball doesn’t attract a large number of Black fans and families at the ballpark. But it seems that Dodgers Stadium is particularly lacking Black fans and families in the stands. IS THIS ACCURATE? WHY IS THIS? WHAT CAN BE DONE?

Check out the latest episode of the @blackbaseballmixtape podcast (everywhere podcast are streaming) to hear me and @lewisbrins25 discuss this and much more.
