I am one PROUD mama tonight!! 🥹🎶❤️

Callie Mae made 5th Chair in All-Region Choir this year!!! Last year she earned 10th Chair, and this year she moved all the way up to 5th! 🎉

Watching her continue to grow, work hard, and become more confident in the gift God has given her makes my heart so incredibly proud. She puts so much time and effort into music, and seeing that hard work pay off is just the sweetest thing.

I also want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Teresa Gomez for all of her one-on-one vocal coaching and teaching. She continually challenges Callie, encourages her, and helps her grow to be the very best she can be. We are so grateful for the time, dedication, and guidance she pours into Callie!

I also want to thank Kayla Abernathy and Blaine Hill for sharing their guidance, wisdom, and expertise and for helping these students work toward and achieve their dreams. Your encouragement and dedication make such a meaningful difference!

Callie Mae, I hope you know how proud we are of you, not just because of the chair you earned, but because of the dedication, courage, and determination it took to get there. ❤️

10th chair last year ➡️ 5th chair this year!
Keep climbing, baby girl. Your mama will always be your biggest cheerleader. 🥹🎶✨

Congratulations, Callie Mae! 5th Chair All-Region Choir!! ❤️🎼

what a beautiful end to such a beautiful experience. west choirs you have given me so much as a vocalist and as a person. you gave me my boyfriend, you gave me my friends, and you gave me the best teachers i could have ever asked for. i’ve always loved choir but it wasn’t until coming to west that my love for it flourished. thank you for the endless opportunities for growth and success and i will use everything i’ve gained in my experience here as i move on to the next stage of life❤️🎵

Never once did I believe I would preform in New York let alone be apart of the Jimmy Awards but here I am. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and award. This goes to show hard work really does pay off. In my interview I stuttered through I tried to explain how talented everyone was. Any one of you could’ve got the award and I mean that sincerely. I am proud of every one of you and I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have met/preform with you all. I’ll see you in New York! 🫡

People ask me if I'm from Arkansas because I love it so much. Arkansas choral directors are loving, welcoming, and work together so beautifully. I love them.

Thank you Drew Warren, Krisie Holmes, Beverly Finley, Daniel Smith, Laura Watkins, Ryan Sullivan, and Kayla Abernathy for being absolute rocks stars.

And thank you Region 1 choir for giving me one of the best rehearsal and performance experiences ever!!!

Also, I got to love on the most chill, beautiful, and amazing baby in the world. I don't know that other future honor choirs can top that! Hahahahaha

Bentonville West Chamber Choir was the honorary high school choir at all-state and they absolutely killed it!! So blessed to have been under Mrs. Abernathy during my high school years. I MISS HER. I also got to sing in the all-state collegiate choir and had so much fun making music.

To all my friends in chamber, I’m so proud of you guys and I miss singing with such talented, wholesome people. I LOVE YALL🥰🥰
