nothing too special, just a random shout out: i feel truly blessed to have so many talented friends, in all the various arts. i'm happy to see everyone being creative these days, regardless of what the state of the world has been in for these lasy few weeks. you guys are all inspirations and help me to push myself each and every day. keep doing your shit! and sadly, I don't have the space for all of the other people doing so many amazing things, but you all are doing the same nonetheless! @theboos707 @yeschefaaron @thebeardedbread @peacefulapathy @o_g_kesh @kaleighhinkle_ @chefjonjones_707 @keptfloatin @sammsters @bigbuttb0y @chrisnewton138 #art #music #food

this has been a rough week. to know I lost one of the best friends I've ever known. To know how much joy you brought to so many people around you, that's just the way you are. We hopped our first train together, we decided "Pi" was the best name for the smartest-fluffiest dog of all the smartest and fluffiest of dogs. Ever. We read books under the Arcata bridge, declaring we weren't homeless-- we were "home free". "Kids Eat Free" included street kids, too. We've played music and yelled at old white people (your words, not mine) all across the country, and you found a way to give me a voice and sense of belonging. You turned me from the fly on the wall, to the fly in your soup. As much as I looked after you, you took care of me in a way no one else did. We saw each other at our best and at our worst. You were my rock, my foundation, and my constant reminder of all that life has to offer. I love you more than words can express, and I miss you terribly. Forever the black who doesn't like "lawnmowers--I mean watermelons!" Cheers to everything done for me and the world around you. And you would be the one to write your own obituary. Hillary "Artichoke" Smith, may we never forget you.
