Puffcon Year 6 ⭐️ I know I say this every year, but this was the best year yet. Not only because everyone who put this festival together has so much love/passion for what they do, but also for each other :’)

This year, we birthed our first ever live Casting Call and it WAS FUCKING SICKKKKKK.

I am sososososo proud of us 😭 This was just one of multiple productions and setups happening simultaneously that we lead as producers. With the grace of Hash Jesus, our incredible team, and beautiful contestants, we pulled it off. This is just the beginning ♾️

For Juneteenth this year, we dreamed BIG and threw a simultaneous 7 city event called Liber8 US 2023 that was also livestreamed! It's hard to capture the full scope of this event in just one post. Different cities, different states, different coasts, different time zones. Afternoon, evening and into the early morning hours, we celebrated the blackness of techno and danced with pride and joy across the country, bringing black artists and the communities that celebrate them together, creating so many special moments and connections that will stay with us for years to come. Swipe for just a handful of clips from that day and don't forget to check out your YouTube channel for the mixes!

“What’s good LA!” Today might be the fourth, but tomorrow is the special holiday for me. It’s this time 2 years ago I moved back to the city, and @scenario_808 was brought to @thelovesongbar. 🔊

If you know me, you know how much I adore this residency. Not only is it a pillar of our LA underground scene- but it has been the centerpiece of so many creative, personal, and professional experiences for me. I’ve made friends, roommates, mentors, lovers- from simply standing behind the bar, and all I had to do was show up for work every Wednesday. Sometimes the universe will put what you need, smack dab in the middle of your path.

@daddykev - I can’t begin to thank you enough for everything you’ve done for the space. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say- you should be so proud of what you’ve built, it’s become a musical home for so many of us. We at @thelovesongbar and @regenttheaterla are your family and will always have your back. 🤍

This year, I did something a little special- I made a menu just for tomorrow’s anniversary event. Each drink is named after a performer, and is what they ordered when they came in to the bar. I’ve been paying attention 😉

I hope everyone has a lovely day of rest, because tomorrow we throw down!! It’s going to be an absolute heater of a night with @kingbritt @downbydfault and @oakcityslums 🔥

See ya then! And ‘every Wednesday night in the city of angels’ 😇

Lol all my captions have been at the character limit and I apologize. Less words:

In two weeks, we’re back at @townhousevenice for the first Nahhphet and Friends of the year, Sunday 01/22, outside on the patio. Afternoon through to the night // old Ubiquitous day party spirit, like the summer house shows, but it’s still winter so dress accordingly.

And everyone is crazy dope

of course 😤

Both of these cuties are playing live throughout the weekend, as the rain subsides specifically in honor of their public relinquishment of thought into the collective consciousness. If you enjoyed their brief offerings last week, come catch the unpacking of their extended toolkits:

1) @nahhphet tonight at @beatcinema

2) @rhyslangston Saturday at the fabled Listen to Music Outside in the Daylight Under a Tree with @leavingrecords

3) @nahhphet again with Nahhphet & Friends at @townhousevenice
