SATURDAY AUGUST 29 Nakama Season 2 ep. 01 - Nakama Shippuden ______________________________________ Shippūden (疾風伝) is a Japanese term that translates to ”Hurricane Chronicles” or ”Legend of the Gale.” It describes a fast-paced, turbulent story filled with intense energy and rapid changes. The word evokes the image of a powerful storm, symbolizing a narrative or history that moves with the unstoppable and chaotic force of nature. ______________________________________ After a well-needed summer break, Nakama is back! Fully rested and charged with new energy, we are ready for Season 2, bringing a fresh new wind into the series. Like your favorite TV show, the protagonist always returns after a long time skip—honing their craft and unlocking powerful, newly developed skills. Kickstarting this brand-new chapter, our residents are back behind the decks, bringing that upgraded energy into the concept, and a new touch to the Nakama concept. No fixed slots, just endless b2b grooves. We are looking forward to meeting you all! ______________________________________ ➡️ABSTRS [Front left records] ➡️Alexandra Mellgren [OBALANS / CXVII] ➡️Penhai_kun [OBALANS / ODD ONE] ______________________________________ Arrive early, stay late! - QX (Ronny Larsson) Line up - Jessie Granqvist - Billie Jo - Andree Bohlin - ABSTRS - Ossian Reynolds Varmt välkomna önskar Ossian och Åke/Anders ——————————————— (English version) SUPPORT PARTY FOR OUR BELOVED BELLA! Feb 21 - NAKAMA 002 - SATURDAY FEBRUARY 21 NAKAMA ep.02 - Groove X Groove _______________________________ ➡️ABSTRS [Front Left Records] ➡️ALEXANDRA MELLGREN [CXVII] ➡️PENHAI KUN [ODD ONE] _______________________________ After a first night where we established the definition of NAKAMA we are back for episode 2. At NAKAMA, each event is labeled like a episode, where the title is giving a hint of what’s to come, and sometimes just a node to our favourite shows (kudos to you if you figure out the shows). In this episode, we explore the meaning of groove, a term that is thrown around a lot these days and can mean wildly different things. In dance music a groove refers to the irresistible, physical feeling of rhythm caused by subtle off grid arrangement of different elements resulting in a rhythmic feel, a infectious danceable energy that compels movement, adding a more human touch compared to more rigid and straight beats. For this event, Nakama has gathered 3 acts each bringing their own spin on grooves for the night. _____________________________________ Arrive early, stay late!
