THE KAFTAN HAS OFFICIALLY HIT THE BILLBOARDS OF MELBOURNE 💋✨

Popularised by Elizabeth Taylor in the late ’60s, the kaftan has had a very Ella Atkins makeover — modernised, made a little erotic, and finished with a casual 6-metre train because subtlety was never really the plan.

She’s one of the icons of my graduate collection, worn by models, influencers and singers, and making her way from runways to fashion weeks.

And now? She’s larger than life on a billboard in the Melbourne CBD.

From graduate collection to taking over the city… she really is THAT girl. 🐆💋

I’m excited to be joining Australian Fashion Festival’s Regional Program in Shepparton this October. ✨

On Sunday 4 October, I’ll be leading a photography workshop exploring the art of portraiture and the magic of fashion imagery.

I’ll also be joining Archibald finalists Stieg Persson and Taryn Cameron-Smith for the panel discussion ‘Capturing Fashion People’ on Saturday 3 October.
