To the last 4 years of my life, thank you so much. I never thought my season would be cut short, but here we are. I genuinely don’t know how to put the best and rockiest 4 years of my life into words, but this sport has shaped me into the person I am today, and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I want to thank every person who has stood by me through it all. This sport has brought me my best friends and some of the most important people in my life. And to my babies, I love you all so much. You have made these years so special, and I wouldn’t trade the memories we’ve made for anything. No matter what happens or where life takes us, please know I’m always here for you. Call me anytime if you ever need anything, because I’ll always be there. Although this chapter didn’t end the way I ever imagined, I know my story isn’t over. Now it’s my time to push through, work harder than ever, and come back stronger for my next 4 years at Truman. I can’t wait to become an even better person and athlete than I was before.
