Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026

Selamat Pulang ke Tanah Air.🇲🇾
Just arrived, and it feels so good to be home.

With a historic haul of 4 gold and 1 bronze medals, my heart is filled with pride.

Yow and Sangari defended their individuals gold & the first two players to qualify for squash’s Olympic debut at LA 2028.

And for the first time, both the men’s and women’s teams won gold at the Asian Games.

Congratulations and thank you to our incredible players — Yow, Sanjay, Ameeshen, Syafiq, Sangari, Aira, Aifa and Rachel.
Appreciation to the coaches & support team too.

It is my privilege to be part of this team and to celebrate this truly “luar biasa” moment together.

So much emotion and pride watching @eainyow & @sivasangari_ Subramaniam won Asian Games 2026 gold medal and become the first-ever squash players to qualify for the Olympics in LA2028.

I didn’t get to play at the Olympics myself, but seeing them achieve this dream makes me genuinely so happy.

Huge congratulations to @ameeshen & @rachelmaearnold on winning bronze in mixed doubles!

I may no longer be a player, but being the Team Manager here, and seeing the young generation of players doing so well & the team is so supportive, makes my heart incredibly full. Proud beyond words.🇲🇾

Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026
26/9/26

The emotions during competition are something only a high-performance athlete can truly understand. It’s so genuine.

I’ve broken down, celebrated, cried, and fought through so many moments in my journey as a top squash player.

Every emotion comes from the heart—passion, the responsibility of representing Malaysia & to win for our beloved country.🇲🇾
It’s a privileged to feel this way.

Today, @ameeshen & @rachelmaearnold fought hard and gave it everything, but had to settle for bronze.

One more to go for @eainyow & @sivasangari_ in the Finals.
And opportunity to be the first two squash athletes to qualify for Olympics LA 2028.

You can do it!!

Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026
25/9/26

Mixed feeling of Day 3 yesterday.
3 wins. 2 loss.
Mixed doubles’s 1st seed Syafiq/Aifa was impacted by the inconsistency of referee’s decision with more than 7 strokes(point to opponent).
Malaysia wrote formal complaint & in team manager’s meeting, I said “The athletes has prepared for 4 years for the games, please respect the high level of the Games & take the players seriously, & referee team need to buck up too”.

We move on & focus on semis today.
We are confident Yow, Sangari, Ameeshen/Rachel will give their extreme best.
