👉 “Will my teeth be shaved down to pegs?”
✅ The answer is absolutely not when using ultra-thin, minimal-prep feldspathic porcelain veneers!
By keeping the patient’s natural enamel, correction of minor gaps, chips, and discoloration can be performed with porcelain veneers with minimal drilling.
✅ Enamel preservation is a deliberate prosthetic design modality, coupled with lifelike porcelain build up work.

Everyone posts their successes. Who's talking about the failures?

Social media is filled with beautiful cases and impressive immediate results. But how many of those cases have 5, 10, or 20 years of follow-up?

In implant dentistry, success isn't defined by the day we deliver the final restoration, much less a beautiful 3-months postoperative photo. It's defined by what happens in the years that follow.

And when things go wrong, do we have a plan?

A throwback to my Academy of Osseointegration video on managing implant failures. Many years later, the message hasn't changed.

It's not the 95% that keeps us up at night. It's the other 5%.

Beautiful results start with precise execution.
Smile makeover with full arch implant rehabilitation with mixed tooth- and implant supported prostheses.
👉 posterior segments: 5 posterior failing implants were explanted and replaced with BLX/BLC implants and screw-retained prostheses at the restored VDO/CR.
👉 anterior segment: 6 anterior teeth restored with porcelain bonded restorations.
✅ do you restore the anterior or the posterior segment first?!
✅ do you control VDO/CR with 1-piece temps or segmented temps?!
✅ do you separate temps for implants and teeth or mix?!

🦷 Halfway Through the PerioSource™ Complimentary Launch

We’ve reached the halfway point of our September complimentary launch! 💚🧡

As a dental hygienist and founder of PerioSource™, I developed the platform from years of seeing how much valuable information is gathered chairside—and how important it is for that information to support the entire periodontal workflow.

PerioSource™ brings an evidence-based, patient-specific, and practice-specific approach to comprehensive periodontal assessment.

For clinicians, that workflow can extend beyond the operatory by providing tailored, patient-specific insurance narratives and pre-authorizations to support administrative and billing teams with the documentation they rely on.

If you're a dentist, periodontist, dental hygienist, educator, or student, I invite you to experience PerioSource™ while complimentary access remains available.

15 days remain. ⏳
Complimentary access through September 30, 2026.

⭐️ PerioSource™ Review | Periodontist Perspective

We’re grateful to share the professional perspective of Dr. Jeesoo Choe, Periodontist, who took the time to evaluate PerioSource™ and its application within periodontal care.

His review speaks to something central to PerioSource™'s development: bringing clinical findings, evidence-based information, treatment recommendations, documentation, and patient communication into a more connected workflow.

PerioSource™ is designed to remain patient-specific and practice-specific, supporting—not replacing—the clinician’s professional judgment.

Thank you, Dr. Choe, for your time, thoughtful review, and professional insight. 🦷💚

📊 PerioSource Insights™ #3 | Dentists Are Telling Us...

What are experienced dentists seeing in the periodontal workflow?

Insights from dentists with 20+ years in clinical practice point to opportunities for:

• More streamlined periodontal documentation
• More efficient insurance narratives
• Clearer treatment recommendations
• Better communication between providers
• Stronger clinical and administrative collaboration
• Greater support for peri-implant disease management

One comment especially stood out:

“I hope PerioSource™ increases periodontal case acceptance and revenue within the dental hygiene department.”

These insights reinforce an important point: comprehensive periodontal care depends on more than clinical knowledge. It also requires efficient documentation, strong communication, better team collaboration, and informed patient understanding.

Thank you to the experienced dentists who continue to contribute their perspectives to PerioSource Insights™. 🦷

PerioSource™ | 5-Part Platform Walkthrough Series

Part 3 of 5 | New Patient Assessment + Generated Findings 🦷

Part 3 moves into the core clinical workflow: the comprehensive periodontal assessment and the patient-specific findings it generates.

Clinical findings and relevant risk factors come together to support classification, staging and grading, risk assessment, treatment considerations, documentation, insurance narratives, referrals, patient education, home care, and maintenance planning.

The result is more than a collection of data—it is a patient-specific clinical picture, adaptable to the dental team’s practice-specific preferences.

PerioSource™ is designed to support, never replace, clinical judgment.
