4 days left until the release of Chingona, and here’s a little BTS clip @_c.hris_ shot — it’s crazy to look back and realize I’ve been sitting on this music video for over half a year and on the song for over a year. Could the release have been planned even better? Should I have waited longer until the “perfect” team to help me promote it was there? All those kinds of questions, wtf — and yet, I already have an incredible team of people around me that I’ve had the chance to get to know over the past few years, and I’m endlessly grateful for that. I can’t wait until the song finally belongs to you. And this music video would’ve never come to life without @cicatriz.tv, @noelle.brush and above all, the entire village of Acatlán — where I hopefully get to be again soon. ♥️ Faltan 4 días para el lanzamiento de Chingona, y aquí les dejo un pequeño detrás de cámaras que grabó Chris — es una locura mirar atrás y darme cuenta de que he estado sentada sobre este video musical por más de medio año y sobre la canción por más de un año. ¿Podría el lanzamiento haber sido planeado aún mejor? ¿Debería haber esperado más tiempo hasta tener el “equipo perfecto” para ayudarme a promocionarlo? Todas esas preguntas, wtf — y aun así, ya tengo a un equipo increíble de personas a mi alrededor, a quienes he tenido la suerte de conocer en los últimos años, y por eso estoy infinitamente agradecida. No puedo esperar a que la canción finalmente les pertenezca. I honestly can’t wait any longer to finally share this project with you. It’s filled with love, gratitude, tears, joy, and honestly pretty much the entire spectrum of emotions, haha. We filmed this video in my mom’s hometown, Acatlán, a small village in the mountains of Mexico, and it only became possible thanks to the incredible support we received—from the entire village, the production team from Mexico City, dancers from Xalapa, and so many more. There are countless little stories behind it, and right now we’re planning a premiere in Vienna 🌱🫶. You’ll be the very first to see the music video, plus there will be a behind-the-scenes talk, live performances, and even a Tombola with amazing gifts from @stmartinsthermeundlodge @toniostacos @galeriehandwerk.at @noelle.brush and more……..infos coming soon! For everyone in Vienna—I would be beyond happy to see you there, because it’s so hard to tell the full story just through social media.
