North Carolina owes me nothing! I recently took a trip back home to celebrate new life 🤰🏽, sustained life 🥳 and to revitalize my own life. Thank you to everyone who held space for me while I visited #NorthCarolina. 🙏🏽 From family visits, to celebrating milestones, I had a chance to fully embrace my identities as daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter, and niece, which is sometimes challenging to do living in Texas with a family of my own. Enjoy my photo dump of pure joy being back in my #home state. 🥰 Definitely going to have to take more solo trips to NC. ✈️

Tonya created @accentedglory with one clear mission: to celebrate culture, creativity, and personal style through handcrafted fashion accessories. Her Salisbury-based accessory brand offers cowrie shell-adorned hair accessories, jewelry, handbags, craft kits, and accessory-making classes. Each piece is handcrafted with natural materials and designed for Gen-X Black women who love bold, meaningful style that feels personal and rooted. Why did she start? Because fashion can be more than an accessory, it can be a statement of beauty, heritage, and self-expression. ✨

Creativity is self-care. 🤍 Today I took time just for me and walked away with this handcrafted gem. Cowrie shells, florals, feathers, beads…all of it a reflection of who I am. If you ever get the chance to try a Let’s Create class, do it. Great energy, great people, great time. 🙏🏾💫 Thanks Again Mrs. Tonya! ❤️🌻 #CowgirlVibes #CowrieShells #SheDidThat #BlackGirlMagic #AccentedGlory
