Crazy month for commission work in DISK HQ… had to show off the spread. Held it down as always with 3 new releases for DELIRIUM… bonus points to D.O.D. for graduating from DISK with the new EP. Also got some more releases in for Ephyra and added the legendary Life Sentence to the DISK duplication team with 3 of my best looking tapes yet. Tons of cool 4 and 5 panel J-cards, over all the variants and different releases this was 500 tapes altogether. If I couldn’t make the month more hectic, I took the challenge of 200 self released September CDs in a week for their tour, catch them and pick one up all over the US this month. Big thank you to the bands and labels who let me work on these, gonna have distro copies of a bunch of these and more on Friday at the Abbey! Now that the backlog has been caught up, again available for CD/tape commission stuff, drop a line…

Boston, MA-based MARTYRIS and their new demo. This is very much a next-generation take on the Scandinavian death metal-influenced style associated with bands like Gatecreeper and Black Breath. While the former tends to lean toward a more metal-centric and relatively straightforward approach, MARTYRIS comes at it from a slightly different angle, bringing in hardcore-style space and a stronger sense of movement in their songwriting. And that artwork? Absolutely irresistible from the moment you see it… https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mQP83iFrgzYMhVsJAybdIhwvKummUq0yA&si=YQCG_8Zv_dONtBBI

Happy New Year!! 2025 has been a great year for local music and a busy year for me - I got to make over 2000 tapes and see more shows than ever… Can’t complain about that! Thank you so much to the bands and labels that have trusted me with their work, and everybody who bought something, said hi at a show, or said the tapes looked cool. It means a lot and I’m incredibly grateful. I have been recovering from a knee fracture so the distro took a small pause, but I have my setup back up and running and am open for new commissions and projects in the new year. Current webstore orders are going out tomorrow and over the weekend, thank you for your patience. I have so many cool projects to share with you guys soon, give the labels I work with a follow as well because they all have a crazy year ahead of them… Here’s to another year in the best state for DIY music 🎉
