I still don’t know how Brayton pulled this off with a awful gate drop, climbed his way up to 2nd with one lap to go and made a pass on a jump 💀 placing him 🥇 in his first moto!! He full on sent it! 🚀 Him and @ace_theripper put on a show for sure!

A little PTSD from that same jump that landed him in the ER so yeah momma was cussing a little 🫣 One packed class @eastbendmx with 21 riders for the 50cc 4-6 class.

Came across this audio this morning and it spoke to me…. Right after we took this stroll in the woods and Ace “figured it out” after you can see he is visually frustrated at the situation.

One of the biggest things I try to focus on as a parent is ensuring Ace has the physical and MENTAL tools to tackle the world. Making him “figure it out” and not solving his issues for him (I give guidance) has drastically increased his confidence and self esteem.

Parenting is hard. Parenting boys is hard. Parenting active boys is hard. But so is life, and no matter how well off we are as he grows up I will always teach him how to solve his problems and my hope is he will be better for it.
