Wanted to do another shout out to local businesses in alamosa. Something that we have to do at the market lot is lock the porta potties because if we don't they get destroyed. So to do this I get a bike cable from Kristi mountain sports and a big twisting combination lock from Ace Hardware. We have been locking the Porta-Potty for at least 10 or more years and what we found is that the combination of these two items seems to keep them left alone when we're not at the market. It's really important for some of the things that we need for the farmers market for me to be able to go in person and test them out and see if they're going to work right. And that's why I appreciate our local small businesses because they allow me to do that instead of finding stuff online. It's becoming more and more important to me over the years to shop locally as a matter of principle but also because that's what I'm asking all of our customers to do by shopping at the farmers market. Let me know in the comments if you've had good experiences with Ace hardware or Kristy mountain sports. #mosamarket #shopsmallshoplocal
