I’ve been compelled to choose green for my board since I could afford to buy my first custom board almost 25 years ago. It’s not a superstition, but just a feeling. I look around, and I’m overwhelmed by so many feelings of green to choose from—cilantro and fennel blooms from my farm, the Waianae Mountains, Leftovers dragonfuit branches,Mokūleʻia naupakapaka leaves, grasshopper, and Laniakea Ironwood needles, to name a few.

After I busted my stick I shredded so bad, I went back to Carl for the same exact ✨magic board✨; 8’6 x 21 1/2 x 2 5/8, really a no-brainer because I’ve loved this Hi Pro for so long, which left me with just one thing to decide on 🐍🐸🍀🍃🐢🦖🐛🌳🥝🦎🥦🍏🥒🦜🦠🥬 🐲🐊🍈🪲🫑🍐🫒🐉🦚🫛

And the last of the week’s fabulous events brought us to our home island Kauai @acehardwarehi stores! We got to see some of the amazing bucket displays in person and thank, hug and honi, the wonderful team members that work so hard to help all Keiki get their miracles with @childrensmiraclenetwork & @kapiolanimedicalcenter ! To everyone who came out and participated in @acehardwarehi bucket days , we can’t say mahalo enough! Because of you we can make BIG change for all Keiki right here in Hawaii! Special thank you to our Kauai Ace stores for letting us interrupt your busy days to say hi !

Panda Care Day was so much fun! From mini buckets with @acehardwarehi to face painting with @auana.cirquedusoleil to Seeleys favorite bead making with @kailua.beads and clay panda creations with @kapiolanimedicalcenter to slime making and Ono food with @officialpandaexpress it was a day dreams are made of! Mahalo plenty to all the vendors who pour so much aloha into making miracles for @childrensmiraclenetwork !
