So grateful to attend the @unitednations Summit of the Future Youth Action Days through @ypfp_global and with other YPFP leadership/fellows! 🇺🇳

We discussed how young voices could be heard on topics including peace, gender (especially in Afghanistan), migration/refugees, and counterterrorism. We heard from speakers including UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, and Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, as well as many inspiring activists, civil servants, diplomats, and artists.

The Secretary-General made a point about his generation had left youth out of policy discussions. It is inspiring that there is now an effort to make young voices, especially women’s voices, heard when addressing the most pressing global issues today, so that the future ahead of us is brighter.🌞

Bringing my serious face to represent 🇬🇧 at the #G20YouthSummit🇮🇳

As a taxi driver his entire life going through poverty, my dad once drove Canadian diplomats around in China. Less than 30 years later—his son now sits behind the Canadian flag at the G20.

Our household bore the unmistakable marks of an immigrant family navigating life on a tight budget. But more than that, it echoed with tales of resilience, of sacrifice, and of dreams.

Some 11,000km away in India, those very narratives resonate with me, serving as poignant reminders of the challenges my parents faced — and of impact of policy organizations like the G20.

Last month as a collective of young global leaders, we convened, shaped policies, and pushed discussions for this week’s G20 Leaders’ Summit.

Despite all that our generation will face — from climate change to global inequality, I remain optimistic that we will make the right decisions.

For in our hands, lies not just the stories of our past, but the unwritten chapters of our shared future.

A future more just, more inclusive — and one where any taxi driver's child can represent a nation, proving every dream has the power to shape tomorrow.

Let's ensure that the future tells a story—a story of a world more just, more inclusive, and more hopeful than we found it.

Perhaps one of my most sleep-deprived days but glad to have signed the @y20india Communique on behalf of India!

These days had several memories, incidences experiences and the culmination of a journey I have been on for quite some time now.

Extremely grateful to the Y20 India Secretariat, my fellow delegates and HODs and friends made on the path!
