happy one year release to our first little collection self-titled ep “perish” existing in the world !!🌻🪿🌅 this project almost didn’t happen so many times! fear, vulnerability, impostor syndrome, money, I still barely know how to play guitar?! so thankful for all of the talent, brains, and hands that have been involved in this ever-evolving project. thank you sm to everyone who has supported us along the way ✨

it’s hard to imagine this project coming to life without the support and encouragement of @grahamwbell with @ruedefense, who believed in my (@_rosebandit) clunky little garage band demos, saw the vision, and believed there was something worth making here. He gave me the confidence to start asking other musicians to support what I was writing and branch out from the safety and control of a solo artist.

and this absolutely couldn’t have happened without @achappst3r, @awildsamalope, and @sufjanenjoyer, who were crazy enough to hop in the backseat of a stranger’s car and tag along to Rhode Island to record at @bignicestudio — only to get completely snowed that February Super Bowl weekend lol.

One year later, I’m still so grateful that all of you believed enough to take the ride with me. I feeling very lucky that this project exists, and even luckier that it keeps evolving. 💌

HPPY RELEASE DAY cuties 🎣💙 “patience” is live and streaming everywhere! 🌠 hear us play it live TONIGHT at @cassettenyc with @hasellnutt @american.seraphim • doors at 8pm, link in bio

✍🏻 I wrote this song describing that blurry, (sometimes exhausting) space that can come with dating—where you’re trying to figure out if you’re building trust or if you’re just holding onto a fantasy, the illusion of potential - consciously or not, how often we might stay with someone just to not be or feel alone and it’s consequences - the grief and tension of not wanting to leave but knowing you cannot stay - this song explores whether “patience” in relationship will lead to something safe and meaningful or if you’re simply delaying the inevitable. That constant question of: Do I give this more time, or is it finally time to walk away Xo
