Jakov Kaštelanac — Dreams 🔮
@jakovkastelanac

Dreams have always been a strong part of my life. I sleep a lot, daydream often, and sometimes feel more connected to imagined moments than to reality. Dreams rarely follow a clear narrative; they move between people, places, emotions, and memories, connecting unrelated fragments into one experience.

This project explores that state through photography. The images are presented as fragments rather than a linear story, allowing viewers to create their own connections between them. The final work will include a photographic installation and a small photo-book dummy, with red string appearing as a subtle recurring element that connects selected images and becomes part of the book’s binding.

You’re invited! We celebrate our degree show exhibition this Thursday June 25 in the Sala Gandul at Nau Bostik. We hope to see you there. 🤍

“Presence” gathers the inner worlds of sixteen photographers, each work contributing to our lives as individuals holding a distinct way of seeing, yet united as one through a shared desire to give form to a story, a feeling, a dream, or something in between.

A space where the intricacy of another’s life may be noticed, even for a moment.
