Peak Burning Man! You’ve been so busy building a theme camp in @illumination_village , running an art car, and navigating a multitude of questions, that you forgot that all you wanted this Burn was to FINALLY see @tychomusic at sunrise. And who knew, that the Intension setting workshop I held earlier in the week, would be the catalyst to remind me.
As @acidplaydough and I left camp Wednesday night on foot, the hits kept coming! Each art piece we stop at was even more amazing than the next.
Each party we danced at had bangers all night. Then, we ran into two people from my workshop who said they were headed to Tycho! Where? Who knew, but that was our new mission as well.
When we arrived, the energy was that Old School Burning Man Sunrise Energy that keeps me coming back.
Then, as daylight started to break, and Tycho played the new Bonobo release Me and You, I landed at my Burning Man. I was HOME and I finally got that Tycho Sunrise I kept missing all these years. 😶‍🌫️😍🥹
The energy on the playa at Sunrise cannot be explained and when you add in dancing to one of your favorite DJs, pure joy is all I can say.
Thanks for an epic adventure @acidplaydough
And big thanks to @redhotbev 🧯for the continued bangers and the ride back to the city that morning!

MANY HANDS MADE LIGHT(er) WORK 🪡🧵

To those of you who know me, i have been fully recovering after le worlds largest fanny pack 😵 in the meantime i would like to thank the many volunteers who made this possible. Thank you to everyone who dropped by, helped with sewing, cutting, setup, treats, vibes, emotional support!!! My core helpers were @dinner_school @acidplaydough @claudeconstas @georgiaeatsbats, with support from @zigzag.gif @occhi_rae @wordstofnliveby @lilynotlilian, @sadbadbug, @harold.ballz , @_cal__zone_ molly w, @everybodybirdspvd @instasele @graceledgard @nicolerseme, dan K , sadie w, andrew a.

So many people donated tents- thank you all!! I was so happy to have this be a mostly recycled project with only the pvc piping i had to buy.

To anyone i didnt list you are not forgotten!!! Thank you to @yardworkproductions for the incredible opportunity to make something big and crazy, to zigzag for taking a risk on me, and @artisansasylum for the space to make this happen.

For those who missed it, here is some info about my project:

THE WORLDS LARGEST FANNY PACK!

A symbol of resiliency, freedom, and preparedness, the fannypack is a utilitarian item that is not bound to trends or time.

Built over 3 months in 2026 by me with the help of many volunteers, the Worlds’ Largest fannypack (WLFP) is part passion project, part installation, part community collaboration. The pack is a kaleidoscope of 100% recycled tents and structured with PVC piping, both sourced from generous community donations. It measures over 50’ in width (strap end to strap end); the ‘pouch’ is 18’6” wide, and stands at 7’ tall. The WLFP took 3 months of scheming and sewing to build from scratch out of the Makerspace at Artisans Asylum in Brighton, MA. Volunteers cycled in and out to help out with pinning, cutting, sewing, moral support, engineering, basic arithmetic, and snacks!

VOLUNTEERS:
@dinner_school @acidplaydough @georgiaeatsbats @claudeconstas @occhi_rae @lilynotlilian @sadbadbug @harold.ballz @instasele @graceledgard @everybodybirdspvd @nicolerseme, @zigzag.gif Sadie, Dan K., @fidget.ology , Dan K, Sadie F, Andrew A,
