Ziggurat manages to be both powerful in features yet quick, musical and fun to play and perform with. Hard to do with such a rich feature set.

Here's some of the patches from the demo on the @divkidvideo YouTube channel.

Bravo to @acidraintech for the design, it led to creative ideas and results I didn't think I'd find when I started making the demo.

… 50mm fader, stackable ..😛
I needed more travel and will probably need more of these faders in the long run 👍

Feed it some chords, and Plexiphon will make the rest.
Love this new module from @makenoisemusic .

I made a new track called Rathar — 120 BPM, and the main focus is the new oscillator I got from Frap Tools, the Brenso.

The whole thing is basically being driven by Clank Chaos. All three melodic lines, including the bassline, are generated from gates and CV pitch coming from Chaos.

One of the things I really love about Chaos is how you can let a sequence run randomly, then loop specific moments while giving that loop its own settings for pitch probability and pitch range. So you get this really interesting tension between something that feels like it’s looping and something that suddenly breaks free into randomness again.

I’m controlling both oscillators on the Brenso, each receiving a different pitch stream from Chaos. There’s also a lot of FM cross-modulation happening between the two oscillators. The final output then goes through the wavefolding sections of the Brenso before getting pushed into even more FM craziness through Joranalogue Collide.

The bassline is a Noise Engineering Incus bassline, also driven by Chaos. On top of all that, I added some softer pads with Make Noise Multiwave to give the whole thing a little breathing room.

For the beats: kick from Bohm, snare from shaped white noise, and percussion from Archers Rig by Shakmat and Ultra-Perc and Metalloid, both from SSF. The rhythm is all generated through Acid Rain Constellation and Divskip.

The clocks for Constellation and Chaos come from two separate channels of ALM Pamela’s Pro Workout. I’m using opposing probability settings and controlling the balance between them with Planar 2 from Intellijel.

Push the joystick one way and the melody becomes denser while the beat opens up. Push it the other way and the rhythm takes over while the melody becomes sparser.

And this is exactly the kind of patch I love.

There are these beautiful, almost harmonic-minor melodies happening, but then the FM and wavefolding tear into the tones and create this eerie, unstable character underneath.

Beautiful melody → loop → mutation → randomness → back into a loop.

It constantly shifts between those states without ever really stopping.

Rathar — 120 BPM. Go check it out. #eurorackmod

Love how trippy this system can be.

Working on a new setup revolving around OXI ONE MKII, controlling 3 voices and a kick.
All melodic content is summed into a LPG, controlled by OXI envelopes, so I can constantly change the phrasing of it.
Needless to say , is so much fun.
Oh, wait for the drop ☺️

New nice case from @morphmodular

A love letter to Loquelic Iteritas Percido from @noiseeng. She loves modulation, and I’m eager to oblige. Trinity and Constellation are drumming as usual. A slew of other great modules are supporting the patch by adding delay, distortion and texture, but LIP is the star of this one.
