𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘝𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 is now simply me, and my new handle is @stefanievstevens (v for vegan) 💚 Years ago I specifically chose the name Life, Veganized for several reasons, but one thing that was important to me in the name was that it had to have the word “vegan” in it. For full transparency, it saddens me to see so many businesses and individuals shy away from the word “vegan” out of concern that they won’t be seen as inclusive, and in order to appeal to a wider audience. However, in my brainstorming and strategizing with others in my field in recent months, this has been discussed and I’ve gotten an abundance of positive feedback on going for this type of rebrand. Additionally, this was originally a faceless account, just food content without even my name anywhere on it. That was back in 2016, and since then this page has evolved into so much more; I’ve gone through so much personal growth in front of thousands. I’ve grown into a woman the younger me wouldn’t even recognize. The girl who couldn’t leave voicemails because she hated her voice now talks and eats straight on camera (again, in front of thousands) 😆 I’ve been extremely vulnerable on here; I’ve shared my accomplishments and challenges, I’ve cried here. I’ve poured my heart out both on camera and through my writing. I’ve shared things here that my friends and family don’t know (and then they find out once they see my posts), I’ve taken you guys on my travels with me and connected with so many of you individually through comments and DMs, and I’ve even met many of you in person in my city or while traveling and attending events ❤️ This platform has given me countless opportunities that I am so grateful for and opened many doors, some I never imagined would be for me. It’s been a balance of pushing myself out of my comfort zone, embracing changes, getting comfortable at new heights and allowing myself to be more seen. As I’m becoming the person I need to be to make as big of a positive impact as I hope to, aligning my identity further with this brand felt like the natural next step toward deeper connection, growth, and continuing to make veganism easier and more accessible for everyone 💚
