I spent the last two days catching up with family and friends, and I enjoyed every second of them. Two of my animated reels are finally being exhibited in person for the first time, and I can't thank @crystalball_thebrand enough for making this a reality. This @philadelphiamarriottdowntown showcase runs through January 2027, and I'm looking forward to exhibiting more of these in the near future.

After the opening reception, I went to @mxl_cafe to see my cousins. My cousin, @salaahscorner, was diagnosed with brain cancer this past summer, and he had just completed his radiation treatment. He's definitely a fighter, and I wish him nothing but love and good health. ❤️

The following night, I caught up with @painting_pretty and checked out her final showcase of 2026. She never ceases to amaze me. The event took place on the 28th floor in Center City, so we had a tremendous view of the skyline. Great atmosphere overall, and I met some new people along the way.

A beautiful evening at “If Art Was a Song”! 🎨✨ The artwork by my friends Syreeta Scott, Ivben Taqiy and Big Rube was absolutely amazing, as were the pieces by the other talented local artists. So much beauty and creativity in one room! ❤️

If Art was a song🎨🎙️🎶
Tomorrow night at the ACAG Gallery! I’m so excited to experience this incredible multisensory exhibition featuring me and my face-paint artistry, captured through the lens of @williamh215. What an honor to be part of such a beautiful creative experience! 🎨📸❤️

Can’t make the opening? No worries! The exhibition will be on display through January, so you’ll still have time to experience it. ✨

Today marks the 10th anniversary of launching my ongoing "Rockin' Jazz" series. Each fictional rockstar is named after a real-life jazz musician. It's my way of celebrating Afro-American culture in general and the Afro-American experience in rock and metal in particular. Talk about doing something for the culture. You're welcome. ✊🏾😏

Some of these drawings have been displayed in billboards, galleries, hotels, etc. and found their forever homes. Others have been featured on @positivelyphillytv on @phl17 this past January 21st. I'm very happy to say that my persistence is paying off. Many thanks to those who bought a piece from me and those who have allowed me to share this project with the public in person. I can't wait to push this even further. Stay tuned. 🤘🏾😎🎸
