This is school lunch!

I keep hearing about how unhealthy American school lunch is. Let this be a reminder of what is possible. All kids deserve a nutritious school lunch!

You asked. We promised. We delivered.
And yesterday, we celebrated the widely successful Cantine program that started this school year, with the people who were instrumental in making it happen.

Thanks to two years of incredible community fundraising, our school built a professional kitchen on our Ashbury campus and found the perfect partner in Acre, who crafts and delivers delicious, nutritious meals for Lycée students every day.
Consul General of France in San Francisco, Valérie Brisset, joined us to mark this important milestone and officially celebrate the opening of the Cantine.

So, the ruban is cut and it's official: the Lycée Cantine is live and now part of the amazing program the Lycée makes available to Bay Area families.

The hallways are buzzing and tasty smells are lingering around the cafeteria. My team crushed it this week! Not only making lunch for over 1000 kids each day, but also creating some beautiful spreads for our teachers, administrators, and parents.

...now for rest
