To close Climate Week NYC, THE NAT brought marine restorers and the people backing their work together for For The Ocean. The ocean is part of the systems that make life possible, and those systems are under pressure. The evening brought some of the beauty, hope and energy needed to keep people engaged with the work. Protecting the ocean takes unlikely partnerships, committed capital and people willing to keep showing up. “Take care of the ocean as if your life depends on it, because it does.”

KAIKOA × ACTAI BALI 2026 The vision begins. I cannot describe how excited—and grateful—I am to be heading to ACTAI Bali to present KAIKOA Brand, KAIKOA Expeditions, and the wider KAIKOA ecosystem. For weeks, I have worked day and night to give shape to a dream I have carried for most of my life. A dream I never quite had the right environment, energy, or sense of safety to fully open up and share. ACTAI changed that. Their invitation gave me the drive, courage, and space to bring this world to life. KAIKOA is a lifetime in the making. It is the sum of my childhood, studies, adventures, struggles, mistakes, hard work, and everything I still dream of becoming. It is the personification of who I am and what I hope to build and share with the world. This film is not a finished collection or product catalogue. It is a KAIKOA brand vision—a cinematic pitch for the universe I am building. KAIKOA Expeditions already exists. The artwork, boat, website, and life behind it are real. Much of the wider ecosystem and gear collection is still being designed and developed. Some pieces shown are entirely original KAIKOA concepts. Others are inspired by the best equipment I have discovered, trusted, and used around the world. They are not designs I intend to copy or reproduce. They represent the quality, functionality, durability, and beauty KAIKOA must eventually reach through its own original design language. I have enormous respect and gratitude for every designer, maker, and brand whose work has helped establish that standard. Now it is time to build my own. To surf, ride, learn, and share this dream at @actaiglobal Bali 2026 beside people like @toutiess and the @coralgardeners —people who lead with courage, purpose, and heart—makes me feel so humble and the luckiest person in the world. Thank you, ACTAI, for believing in ideas and creating a space where I can present the dream of my life.
