Have you seen Soon, Maybe?

This scene with Temi cooking and listening to poetry is one of my favorite scenes because to me cooking is a form of intimacy, spending hours in the kitchen cooking for someone is an act of love.

@acthome___ offered me the perfect space to tell this story, I always pictured a kitchenette for this scene because I didn’t want Temi locked off in a kitchen by himself, this feels like we are part of his process.

Presenting the official poster for Soon,Maybe. A story about the tragedy of lost time, how silence can be a thief of time if we let it fester.

Writing this film was a lesson in storytelling, to be able to capture the essence and history of 2 characters in under 10 minutes was a challenge and also directing a cast and crew in 6 hours was no walk in the park but we made a film!!

I am incredibly proud of the cast and crew who helped bring Soon, Maybe to life.

Let’s talk about guest damages.

It’s not just about the caution fee. Many think short-stay apartments rely on vibes and a refundable deposit, but policies are key.

The caution fee is just one layer; policies are the full system guiding everything from check-in to check-out, including damage handling, normal use, repair or replacement, timelines, accountability, and consequences.

Some damages are accidental, others intentional.

The goal isn’t to scare guests but to protect the space, business, and guest experience with clear expectations. It’s not just holding fees but having thought-out policies before arrival.

Soft life for guests, structured life for hosts.

Without clear policies, you’re not running a business. You’re running a prayer point.

There’s something about this space that immediately makes you exhale. I’ve always paid attention to how spaces make people feel. Not just how they look, but how you feel when you walk in.

This is one of the two-bedroom apartments at @acthome___.
Simple, calm and designed for the kind of stay I personally enjoy.

When you book, tell them I sent you. You will get a little something off :)

How is your weekend going?

If it is not solving a need, it’s just vibes and vibes don’t scale.

Abuja City Tourist @abujacitytourist started as curiosity. It birthed ACT Experience @act_experience then came ACT Home @acthome___

One “why.” Different expressions. Build what people actually need then build it again. Better.

What do you say?
