I think hitting 151mph in a super car is probably the peak of what I do for work.

Don’t forget to follow @actionshotscam to keep up with what I do.

Made by an awesome friend, coworker. @shaw.xander check out his Etsy store PrixmDesign for an assortment of leather engraved patches and cards. The patches are all iron on so it makes it super easy. The engravings are very clean. (While ur at it you should follow my photo account if you haven’t) @actionshotscam

As we reflect on the semester, we wanted to take a moment and share some photos from the Kyle Rittenhouse event on campus. Student Publications is truly a learning lab for students who are interested in covering news and issues. Prior to the speech, there were a lot of conversations in our building about covering protests and other situations that are tense and complicated. This was following a visit from @demetrius.freeman and @jabinbotsford who both shared their experiences of covering big news stories. We also held a training that was attended by many on both the @wkuherald and @wkutalisman staffs to help students prepare. The speech and planned protests followed Rittenhouse’s speech at the University of Memphis, where his talk was halted early due to protests. This entire process and coverage was a good learning experience for everyone, both about the first amendment, and how to cover tense stories. We even hosted journalists from the @courierjournal who used our newsroom to work out of while they filed photos and a story.

Yesterday I took RUF students from Western KY U. on a tour of #STL We visited:
-The Michael Brown Memorial
-The Old Courthouse
-Mary Meachum Freedom Crossing
- The Delmar Divide

It was an insightful trip and we had great conversations about cross-cultural #ministry.
