Kitesurfing is my happy place! 😊

I love the combination of playing with the elements of nature: wind 💨, ocean and waves 🌊, and all the ocean locals that pass by 🐬, while flying my kite and performing all sorts of tricks! And with time, the tricks improve 🤙🏻 Competition makes an entrance 🥇👸🏼 ’24, and I love the challenge and the ongoing progression that kitesurfing offers! 🤩

So, why change from twin-tip riding to strapless directional 🏄🏼‍♀️ and a little bit of foiling?

Well… 10 years into kitesurfing, it’s not only the number of tricks I’ve accumulated and a few rewards 🥇👸🏼, but also my age 😅, my awareness of danger ⚠️ and risk ‼️, and the feeling that I’m not so happy in my happy place anymore.

So, I had two options… change my hobby or change my kite session!

That’s when I discovered that I just love riding a board with my feet 👣 loose and getting carried away by wherever the 🌊 and wind 💨 take me!

Oh yes, it’s definitely a new challenge, and there’s still so much progression to make! But there’s no fear of a failed kiteloop ➰ and a big crash 💥.

Just me, my kite 🪁, my board 🏄🏼‍♀️, chasing the wind 💨 and waves 🌊 in the beautiful surroundings that nature has to offer 🌅

Still my happy place! 😊🤙🏻
