Kind of cool that the only place you can see air is in water🫧🌊

A thought brought to my mind by @gabby_buda a fellow mermaid 🧜🏼‍♀️

You spend your entire life surrounded by something you can’t see. You breathe it in and out thousands of times a day. It keeps you alive, but it’s completely invisible. Until you go underwater.

Suddenly, the invisible becomes visible. Every exhale turns into a little reminder that you’re carrying an entire atmosphere around with you. And if you get the timing, the shape, and the movement just right, you can turn that invisible thing into a perfect little ring that travels through an entirely different world 🪄

Exploring Malta’s Victorian Baths 🛁

📍Sliema

These rectangular pools carved into the limestone were created during the Victorian era in the 19th century.

Under British rule, sea bathing became a major health trend for the upper classes. Because of strict Victorian modesty standards, these pools originally featured wooden posts, canvas awnings, and privacy curtains so bathers could enjoy the water away from public view.

Today, the privacy screens are long gone, but these historic rock-cut pools are still the perfect spot for a saltwater dip 🇲🇹✨

First (very gentle) snorkel since breaking my arm 🤿 thanks to @activarmor 💪🏻

Finally feeling alive again 🧜🏼‍♀️

I’ve always found the ocean to be healing, but there’s something extra special about being in it right now. My arm feels the most comfortable, supported, and weightless in the sea.

Taking in all that healing energy 🌊
