UNLOCKED: NO BAND SBAR DIPS 🥹🔥

Started calisthenics in May 2023—and I never stopped. Through the soreness, doubts, and plateaus, I kept showing up.
Because I wanted this. Badly. And today… I finally hit it. 😭

From struggling with basics to unlocking a goal I used to be scared of—this is proof that consistency and the right people around you can change everything.
I’m so grateful for my coach, my circle, and the fire that never let me quit.

To anyone who’s scared to try something new: DO IT.
Let it be messy. Let it be slow. Just don’t let fear win.

You’re capable. More than you know. 🫶

Made it through last Saturday’s Dragonpay Anniversary fun run with a cool new 5km PR and my first ever podium finish :) Thanks to all my training buddies and running friends for the encouragement!

Planned for 1:10 to beat my 1:17 PR, finished in 1:02 💥

Yesterday, I went up against the old version of me, the one who would've given up before even trying 👊🏻

Also celebrating our first race together!
Congrats again on that sub-2, babe!! @paoloromeroo! 🏃

A little reminder to pause and honor your progress #doitfroyou

I just finished my first international marathon here in Osaka 🎌🥹 @osakamarathon.official

From the moment I crossed the starting line, I knew this race would test me in ways I hadn’t imagined. The weather was wild—IT SNOWED TWICE, the ice stung my face, and then suddenly, the ☀️ was all out. I managed to keep my pace within 7:00-8:30/km, there were moments I slowed down but def maintained back to the original pace. I was starting to walk around 35 km, and then I saw @japreyes. That moment gave me a much-needed boost, and my pace picked up! But at 36-37km, the cramps hit. Still managed to do run-walk, focusing on one step at a time.

At that point, I stopped thinking about how much farther I had to go. Instead, I focused on just finishing each km. When I hit 40 km, I felt a burst of energy. The roar of the crowd, and the sight of Osaka Castle getting closer. And when I finally saw the finish line and my time, I knew, I HAD GIVEN IT MY ALL. 😭

From my first marathon PR 6:30 (TBR 2020)→ 5:39 🥹 and breaking multiple PRs! Maybe it was adrenaline, the weather, the community—or maybe, just maybe, the months of training paid off.

Biggest thanks to Coach @runningseannahswift for all the tips, guidance, and workout plan that helped me improve, and to Coach @martin_kvm for keeping me in check! our cali sessions combined with my running schedule helped me build strength and stay injury-free.🌟

To my family and friends, thank you for your endless support. Even during work hours when you were all tuned in (abang na abang per km) 😂 your sweet and inspiring messages had me in tears the night before, and I carried those emotions with me throughout the race. I love you all so much! 🫶🏻

And finally, to my number one supporter @japreyes , who came all the way to Osaka with me to cheer me on, document my journey, and update everyone, you made this experience even more special. I couldn’t have done my best without you. ♥️

NEXT YEAR NA ULIT, Quota nako 😂
