Dundee is set to sparkle this Christmas, with an exciting line-up of festive entertainment, family fun and dazzling displays promising to bring the city to life throughout the festive season. 🎄🎅❄️

Following its successful return last year, Dundee’s Christmas Switch-On returns on November 15, bringing festive cheer to the city with a spectacular real Christmas tree and the exciting addition of a family friendly drone show for 2026.

This will be followed by the 5th Dundee Hooley on November 29, with a fiery, dragon-themed spectacle set to heat up the crowds this winter as the city celebrates St Andrew’s Day, inspired by the local folklore of the Legend of the Dundee Dragon.

City Square will then be transformed into a festive wonderland as Christmas in the Square runs from November 27 to December 30. Run by Horne's Pleasure Fairs, the event will bring a Christmas market, funfair rides and seasonal cheer to the heart of Dundee.

Dundee’s Christmas offering also includes many different markets, community and traditional Christian faith events. Further information about Christmas in Dundee can be found on dundee.com.

Week 41/52

Recovery week after Chester and no marathon blues. Just a fire that’s hotter than ever for the next challenge. I have a lot of things planned that I’ll share soon. Apparently I didn’t take any pictures this week??? Recce run of tentsmuir to finish the week with some friends I’ve made on here.

8 hour round one loop to come. Let’s have it😈

Sorry @scottcameron40 I only took 10 pics so you chilling with Izzy made the cut!

Overall, a pretty good week 🤍 but definitely a few rubbish sessions thrown into the mix, which resulted in various messages to Ryan 😂

Sometimes you just need that reassurance that it’s okay to take a step back even when every part of you doesn’t want to. A few days off, listening to my body and being reminded that rest is part of the process.

I think sometimes you just need people in your life who know you well enough to tell you to stop when you need to hear it 🫶🏼

Still learning, still finding the balance, and reminding myself that one bad session doesn’t define the week or the progress💛 #balance #hybrid #runner

Week 40/52

Main event of the year ticked off 🦒 (and a marathon PB the same weekend). 1500km+ covered in training for 1 day. Not the result I wanted but it’s just added more fuel to the fire. 12 more weeks left this year to be better. Plan is already afoot @ryan_stirton_95athlete

Wholesome day at the zoo to finish it off. Roll on more laughs, tantrums and runs 🫶🏻

WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN!! 🙌🏼

After winning Best Health & Fitness Business at the 2026 Scotland Business Awards back in April, we’ve had to pinch ourselves all over again after winning Running Coaching Specialists of the Year at the 2026 Scotland Prestige Awards! 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As a coaching team, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single athlete who puts their trust in us — from our amazing young Mini’s, to our experienced veterans.

To the parents who put their faith and trust in us to coach 100+ children across Scotland every single week, and to the partners and organisations we’ve had the privilege of working alongside - thank you. 🤝🏼 @by_mana___ @dicedmealprep @activedundee @interval_running_

We started On Your Mark’s just over two years ago, and to now have two major awards sitting alongside everything our coaching team has achieved is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Every recommendation, every referral, every message of support and every athlete who chooses to put their trust in us has helped us get to where we are today. We’re incredibly grateful to every person who has been part of the journey so far.

WHAT. A. YEAR. 🧡

And we’re only just getting started… 🚀

Dundee

Stepping back in time on the streets of Dundee, Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This stunning view is dominated by the Steeple of the Dundee Parish Church (St Mary's), a landmark that's been a part of the city's skyline for centuries. The church itself dates back to the 12th century, though the current building and its impressive steeple are more recent additions after various fires and reconstructions. Surrounded by the classic red sandstone buildings of the city, it’s a perfect blend of history and architecture. Did you know Dundee is known as "Scotland's sunniest city"? We've been soaking it up! ☀️ #Dundee #DundeeSteeple #StMarysChurch #TartanTrail
