FANTASTIC weekend attending the new ART Fascia course! Awesome turnout, top-notch instructors, and a ton of great content.

It was great catching up with colleagues I haven’t seen in a while and making some new friends along the way. Best part is walking away with information I can put to use immediately. Already implementing it on Day 1.

Always learning. Always refining the craft.

Last weekend, our team was sharpening their therapy skills during the @activereleaseeurope /@activereleasetechniques spine course, taught by our very own @p.faasse.

One of our core values is Excellence, and these courses are one of the things we do in that respect.

These courses are among the hardest courses to do! Proud of the team for finishing it strong💪💪

Well done Stina, Lewis, Caterina and Jessi!

What a weekend of learning!!

A few weeks ago, we hosted @activereleaseeurope and @p.faasse to level up our physiotherapy with over 60 lower body protocols

And our clients and patients are already feeling the benefit 🤩

Can’t wait for the next one for spine!

Dr. Wood had the wonderful opportunity to teach ART’s Active Diagnosis course in Prague. We had 16 advanced practitioners in the course. Our USM doctors constantly study and train in order to bring you the most effective care. #chiropractic #health #fitness #sportsmedicine #activereleasetechnique

Yet another case of someone presenting symptoms at the knee that originated in the ankle/foot. This patient could have kept doing all the leg curls and glute bridges in the world, it wouldn’t have helped. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s never a bad thing to strengthen your posterior chain 😂 it just wasn’t going to fix this specific issue.
It’s not because the painful zone is the biceps femoris’ insertion that it’s a hamstrings tendinopathy. Taking the time to palpate thoroughly (thank you @activereleaseeurope - best tool to learn the art of palpation) and assess how someone organizes himself while performing the painful tasks is really key.
Of course, this is an hour long assessment in a BIG nutshell. After working on his foot/ankle during the last 5 minutes we had left, he already felt a difference.
It is awesome to see someone who has been dealing with pain for a long time understand what the plan of action is.
