behind the scenes of what I’ve been up to these past weeks in 📍leipzig

I’m not even slightly exaggerating when I say that discovering @worldpackers has completely turned my world upside down… and opened it all up for me to explore in the most memorable ways possible. these past weeks, I volunteered with the ngo @activersity, an university for activists, and besides making the best memories with people from all over the world, getting to explore the artsy surprise that is leipzig and making friends for life, I also learnt a lot about activism, communication, how important it is to look out and love each others through our differences and experiences and got to make amazing content for their socials. bonus points because under our home, activersity runs a non profit vegan pizza place fully ran by volunteers! with all the good pizza, open mic nights and awesome people showing up every week! 😍

writing this on my way to yet another worldpackers experience is making me mildly emotional, so grateful and so sure that if I can do it so can you! and you can! come live in amazing countries for free while you give an helping hand to hostels, ngo’s, retreats, hotels, homes… you name it they have it! I promise you’ll make the best memories ever!

also, if you’re around leipzig or just a cool person in general, @pizzalableipzig the cool vegan pizza place project I mentioned is looking for some volunteers to give a helping hand! just saying I’m jealous of you if you go help them 🍕❤️

Everybody knows social media has huge problems, few people feel they can do something about it. This is why I’m supporting Activersity’s Solidarity Tattoo Party this Saturday at 20:00-21:30(ish) to promote decentralized social media platforms.

Why? Because billionaire controlled social media (BSM) has arguably become one of the biggest threats against democracy. There are alternatives, but for the obvious reason, they are not promoted on BSM - they are not profitable, because they are run in a decentralized fashion, without algorithms that serve billionaires, but just a timeline that serves your human interests. No ads, no fees - and federated with other platforms. There will be more detailed information to take home and people to ask questions to during this wonderful event.

Check it out with me? August 30th from 16:00-Open End, at Pizza Lab and Manifest, Georg-Schwarz-Straße 10

Timetable:
16:00-22:00 max – Kundgebung @Holteistraße
16:00-22:00 Solidarity Tattoos (you get a Tattoo - Artists donate the profits to the project)
16:00-22:00 Vegan Pizza
20:00-21:30 MY SHOW - Jacqueline Boom Boom
21:30-Open End Party and DJs Valvøla and ElpZ

It was absolutely magical almost 2 weeks ago to perform at a very lovely party at Teezentrale… a very warm, welcoming and fantastic place for bringing humans and together; and it’s a yoga & meditation sanctuary too!!!… my very kind and talented friend singer Dirty Luna (Venessa), worked hard with everyone to help organize a magical night for all, with all…
Thanks @teezentrale for the Love… I hope we meet soon again for continued magic… 😍🫶🌝
& a huge thanks for the beauty in your music Ronja (& for clips of me!), Zohar, and the fiery Dirty Luna!!! Each of you touched me & the audience deeply… 💗🦄🦋

Music Is Love… I feel this in my Soul… it shall always be so, Soul… 🕊️💗🥰

I’m really happy to return for a concert at a place that is truly important in my life, @pizzalableipzig There, when I first began to meet BEAUTITUL HUMANS who became life-long friends, I sang at jam sessions regularly, countless beautiful nights!!! It was a another home for me in Leipzig West, as I craved being there with Leo and Ellie and Marenka & Georgie & & & all the countless friends who hung out at that loving place for different community events!!! There I met Per, who touched my life infinitely, producing and recording my first few songs ever!!! Including the track on this reel “My Sweet Sweet Darling”, which is the musical genius of Pers Anders Rene & Jacqueline Boom-Boom connecting to create a new beauty…
Anyway, at Pizza Lab I will be happily performing for the Soli Party on August 30, bringing you a joyous and Soul-Energizing performance, and after my show, the dance floor will continue to shake with the super amazing B2B by @marja_tavani & @enricozappula DJs valvølab2bElpZ
The night will also be super exciting with the presence of many Leipzig tattoo artists, who’ll be ready to share their art with you…
